(8) Do the pitch single authority check:
(a)
Push the LSK adjacent to <CONTINUE.
(b)
Set Up the Feel System Condition II as follows:
Test 51.20 Set the pitot pressure to 1.30 |0.05 PSIG = 231.5 |4.5 knots at sea level.
(c)
Use the CDU keyboard to put the code 100 into the scratchpad.
(d)
Push the LSK 6R.
(e)
Push the LSK adjacent to <CONTINUE.
(f)
Use the trammel bar or steel measurement tape to measure the stabilizer B dimension. Make sure that the stabilizer B dimension is set to 41.57 |0.01 inches.
(g)
Make sure that the values for the A side are in the limits shown below or on the CDU display. Test 51.21 STAB POS (DEG) Limits: -0.21 to +0.21
WARNING: MAKE SURE THAT PERSONS AND EQUIPMENT ARE CLEAR OF ALL
_______ CONTROL SURFACES BEFORE YOU SUPPLY HYDRAULIC POWER. AILERONS, RUDDER, ELEVATORS, FLAPS, SLATS, SPOILERS, LANDING GEAR, AND THRUST REVERSERS CAN MOVE QUICKLY WHEN YOU SUPPLY HYDRAULIC POWER. THIS CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS OR DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.

Pressurize the hydraulic system A (AMM 29-15-00/201).
(i)
Engage the autopilot channel A to CMD mode.
