Push the LSK adjacent to the <CONTINUE to start the surface test.
(c)
During this test, follow the instructions and push the LSK adjacent to <CONTINUE as shown on the CDU.
(d)
Make sure that the surface test is completed with no failure (Fig. 502).
NOTE: If a failure occurs, the test will stop and the TEST
____ FAILED indication will show on the CDU display.
(e) If a failure occurs, do these steps:
1) From the CDU display, make a note of the test name, the channel, and the LRU that caused the failure.
NOTE: The number XX.YY at the far right end of the second
____ line is the Group Number and Library Test number. the first two digits are the Group number and the last two digits are the Library number.
2) If it is necessary to do the surface test again, push the LSK adjacent to RERUN>.
3) To get the test result data, use the CDU keyboard to put the engineering code 100 into the scratchpad. Push the LSK 6R.
4) To get out of the test result data, push the E key on the CDU keyboard. Push the LSK 6R. 5) Push the LSK adjacent to the <CONTINUE to continue the surface test.
(f)
If no failure occurs, the CDU display shows *DFCS TEST PASSED*.
(g)
Push the LSK adjacent to <CONTINUE to show *END OF DFCS BITE*.
(h)
Push the LSK adjacent to the <INDEX to return to the CURRENT STATUS Additional Tests Selection page.
G. Flight Director Test (Group 12)
