F. Roll Force Transducer - Manual Test

(1) Do this check:
(a)
Set the autopilot A to the CWS mode.
(b)
Make sure that the CWS ROLL and CWS PITCH indications come on.
NOTE: If you did not adjust the transducers correctly,
____ you can not engage the autopilot.
(c)
Slowly turn the control wheel clockwise.
(d)
Make sure that the control wheel moves (between 12.0 and 24.0 pound-inches).
(e)
Slowly turn the control wheel counterclockwise.
(f)
Make sure that the control wheel moves (between 12.0 and 24.0 pound-inches).
(g)
Set the autopilot A to the CMD mode.
(h)
Push the HDG SEL button.
(i)
Turn the control wheel clockwise.
(j)
Make sure that the HDG SEL mode goes off when the torque wrench shows 60 to 100 pound-inches.
(k)
Disengage the autopilot.

(2) Do the check again for the autopilot channel B.

G. Roll Force Transducer Interface Test - DFCS BITE

Do the preparation for the DFCS BITE test in this task: "Operational Test - Digital Flight Control System" (Ref 22-11-00/501 or 22-11-01/501).

Do the transducer interface test:
(a)
Push the INIT REF key on the CDU keyboard.
(b)
Push the LSK adjacent to <INDEX.
(c)
Push the LSK adjacent to MAINT>.
(d)
Push the LSK adjacent to <DFCS.
(e)
Push the LSK adjacent to <LRU INTERFACE.
(f)
Push the LSK adjacent to <CHANNEL A AND B.
(g)
Push the NEXT PAGE key on the CDU keyboard.
(h)
Push the LSK adjacent to ACT POS SENS>.
(i)
Do the preparation steps as shown on the CDU.
(j)
Push the LSK adjacent to <CONTINUE.
(k)
Make sure that the test is completed with no failure.
(l)
Push the INIT REF key on the CDU keyboard to get out of the BITE.
H. Put the Airplanes Back to Its Initial Condition

Remove hydraulic power if it is not necessary (Ref 29-15-00/201).

Remove electrical power if it is not necessary (Ref 24-22-00/201).

A/P ACTUATOR SOLENOID AND TRANSFER VALVES - REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1. General
_______
A. This procedure contains two tasks. The first task is for the removal of the solenoid valves and the transfer valves from the A/P actuators. The second task is for the installation of the solenoid valves and the transfer valves on the A/P actuators.
B. There are two solenoid valves and one transfer valve on each A/P actuator. The procedure is the same for the solenoid valves and the transfer valve. The basic tasks are the same on all of the A/P Aileron Actuators and A/P Elevator Actuators.
C. You can find the two A/P aileron actuators in the left main wheel well. You can find the two A/P elevator actuators on the aft bulkhead at station 1156.
