 scratchpad. (av) Push the LSK 6R to put the library test No. 33 on the screen and in the memory. (aw) Open the AFCS B MACH TRIM DC circuit breaker on the P6-2 Circuit Breaker Panel. (ax) Push the LSK adjacent to <EXECUTE to do the test 60.33 (Mach Trim Surface Test). (ay) Follow the instructions as shown on the CDU display but keep
 the AFCS B MACH TRIM DC circuit breaker open. (az) Make sure that TEST FAILED is shown on the CDU dispaly. (ba) Close the AFCS B MACH TRIM DC circuit breaker on the P6-2
 Circuit Breaker Panel. (bb) Open the AFCS B MACH TRIM AC circuit breaker on the P6-2
 Circuit Breaker Panel. (bc) Push the LSK adjacent to RERUN> to do the test 60.33 again. (bd) Make sure that TEST FAILED is shown on the CDU display. (be) Close the AFCS B MACH TRIM AC circuit breaker on the P6-2
 Circuit Breaker Panel. (bf) Push the INIT/REF key on the CDU keyboard to get out of the BITE.

 (3) Remove hydraulic power if it is not necessary (AMM 29-15-00/201).

 (a)  
Push the INIT/REF key on the CDU keyboard to show the POS INIT page or PERF INIT page.

 (b)  
Push the LSK adjacent to <INDEX to show the INIT REF INDEX 1/1 page.

Push the LSK adjacent to <DFCS to show the DFCS BITE TEST LINE MAINT 1/2 page.

 (e)  
Make sure that the red A/P P/RST lights on the FMAs come on.

 WARNING: MAKE SURE THAT YOU PREPARE FOR THE AIR MODE BEFORE YOU
_______ OPEN THE CIRCUIT BREAKER THAT FOLLOWS. AUTOMATIC OPERATION OF THE AIRPLANE SYSTEMS IN THE AIR MODE CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS AND DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
 (f)  
Open the LANDING GEAR AIR/GND RELAY & LTS circuit breaker on the P6-2 (or P6-3) Circuit Breaker Panel.

 (g)  
Make sure that the red A/P P/RST lights go off.

 NOTE: It is not possible to get access to the DFCS BITE.

 (h)  
Close the LANDING GEAR AIR/GND RELAY & LTS circuit breaker on the P6-2/-3 Circuit Breaker Panel.

 (i)  
Push the INIT/REF key on the CDU keyboard to get out of the BITE.

 M. HSI Switch Position Test

 (1)  Do the HSI switch position test:
 (a)  
Make sure that the HSI switches are in the VOR/ILS position.

 (b)  
Push the INIT REF key on the CDU keyboard to show the POS INIT page or PERF INIT page.

 (c)  
Push the LSK adjacent to <INDEX to show the INIT REF INDEX 1/1 page.

 (d)  
Push the LSK adjacent to MAINT> to show the MAINT BITE INDEX 1/1 page.

 (e)  
Push the LSK adjacent to <DFCS to show the DFCS BITE TEST LINE MAINT 1/2 page.

 (f)  
Push the NEXT PAGE key on the CDU keyboard to show the DFCS BITE TEST OVERNIGHT MAINT 2/2 page.

 (g)  
Push the LSK adjacent to <GROUND FUNCTIONAL.

 NOTE: The CDU display will show TEST IN PROGRESS during the
____ 13-second cross-channel test.
 (h)  
Follow the CDU instructions until the CDU display shows the CHANNEL SELECTION page.

 (i)  
Push the LSK adjacent to <CHANNEL A AND B.

 (j)  
Push the LSK adjacent to <TEST SELECTION.

 (k)  
Use the CDU keyboard to put the library test No. 70 into the scratchpad.

 (l)  
Push the LSK 6R to put the library test No. 70 on the screen and in the memory.

 (m)  
Push the LSK adjacent to <EXECUTE to do the test 60.70 (Discrete Input Quick Test).
