Close the LANDING GEAR AIR/GND RELAY & LTS circuit breaker on the P6-2 (P6-3) Circuit Breaker Panel.

Push the INIT/REF key on the CDU keyboard to show the POS INIT page or PERF INIT page.
(w)
Push the LSK adjacent to <INDEX to show the INIT REF INDEX 1/1 page.
(x)
Push the LSK adjacent to MAINT> to show the MAINT BITE INDEX 1/1 page.
(y)
Push the LSK adjacent to <DFCS to show the DFCS BITE TEST LINE MAINT 1/2 page.
(z)
Push the LSK adjacent to <INFLIGHT FAULTS. (aa) Make sure that these items show on the CDU display:

NOTE: Ignore all items shown on the CDU except A/P DISC as

WARNING: MAKE SURE THAT YOU PREPARE THE AIRPLANE FOR THE AIR MODE
_______ BEFORE YOU OPEN THE CIRCUIT BREAKER THAT FOLLOWS. AUTOMATIC OPERATION OF THE AIRPLANE SYSTEMS IN THE AIR MODE CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS AND DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
(ab) Open the LANDING GEAR AIR/GND RELAY & LTS circuit breaker on the P6-2 (or P6-3) Circuit Breaker Panel.
(ac) Wait approximately 10 seconds.
(ad) Set the autopilot TRIM CUTOUT switch on the aisle stand to CUTOUT position.
(ae) Make sure that it is not possible to engage either A or B to the CWS or CMS mode.
(af) Close the LANDING GEAR AIR/GND RELAY & LTS circuit breaker on the P6-2 (or P6-3) Circuit Breaker Panel.
(ag) Push the INIT REF key on the CDU keyboard to show the POS INIT page or PERF INIT page.
(ah) Push the LSK adjacent to MAINT> to show the MAINT BITE INDEX 1/1 page.
(ai) Push the LSK adjacent to <DFCS to show the DFCS BITE TEST LINE MAINT 1/2 page.
(aj) Push the LSK adjacent to <INFLIGHT FAULTS.

NOTE:____ Ignore all items shown on the CDU except ENG ATT as
shown above.
(al) Set the autopilot TRIM CUTOUT switch on the aisle stand to the NORMAL position.
(am) Push the INIT/REF key on the CDU keyboard to show the POS INIT page or PERF INIT page.
(an) Open the AFDS MCP DC circuit breaker on the P18-1 Circuit
Breaker Panel.
(ao) Wait approximately 10 seconds.
(ap) Engage the autopilot A to CMD mode.
(aq) Push the HDG SEL button.
(ar) Make sure that the HDG SEL light comes on.
(as) Open the AFDS MCP CRS-2 DC circuit breaker on the P6-2 Circuit
Breaker Panel.
(at) Make sure the autopilot A disengages.
(au) Close the AFDS MCP DC circuit breaker on P18-1 Circuit Breaker
Panel.
(av) Engage the autopilot A to the CMD mode.
(aw) Wait approximately 10 seconds.
(ax) Push the HDG SEL button on the MCP.
(ay) Make sure that the HDG SEL light comes on.
(az) Close the AFDS MCP CRS-2 DC circuit breaker on the P6-2 Circuit
Breaker Panel.
(ba) Push the INIT/REF key on the CDU keyboard to show the POS INIT page or PERF INIT page.
(bb) Push the LSK adjacent to <INDEX to show the INIT REF INDEX 1/1 page.
(bc) Push the LSK adjacent to MAINT> to show the MAINT BITE INDEX 1/1 page.
(bd) Push the LSK adjacent to <DFCS to show the DFCS BITE TEST LINE
MAINT 1/2 page.
(be) Push the LSK adjacent to <INFLIGHT FAULTS.
(bf) Use the CDU keyboard to put code 900 in the scratchpad.
(bg) Push the LSK 6R.
(bh) Push the LSK adjacent to <YES.
(bi) Push the LSK adjacent to <CHANNEL A AND B.
(bj) Make sure the word "TEST IN PROGRESS" is shown on the CDU for
appoximately 30 seconds.
