A. Procedure

(1)
Try to turn the shear rivets by hand to see if they are loose.

(2)
Quickly move the fitting and the arm of the lever assembly in opposite directions.

If there is movement between the parts, one or both of the rivets are loose.
S 214-052
(4)
Put a 0.0375 to 0.0395inch (0.9525 to 1.0033 millimeter) diameter pin into the rivet inspection hole.
(a)
Make sure that the pin moves freely.
(b)
Repeat this step for the other rivet inspection hole.

AUTOPILOT AILERON ACTUATOR - ADJUSTMENT/TEST

1. General_______
A. This procedure contains three tasks. The first task and second task are the adjustment of the autopilot aileron actuator. The first task uses the F80217-125 test set for the adjustment of the actuator. The second task uses the DFCS BITE test for the adjustment of the actuator (airplanes with -912 and on FCC). You can use one of these tests to adjust the actuator. The third task is the autopilot aileron actuator test.
