Make sure that the MACH TRIM FAIL light is off.
T. Dual FMCS Test

(1) AIRPLANES WITH DUAL FMC;
Do the dual FMCS test:
(a)
Open the AFCS A FCC DC circuit breaker on the P18-1 panel.
(b)
Set the FMC transfer switch to NORMAL position.
(c)
Push the INIT/REF key on the CDU keyboard to show the POS INIT page or PERF INIT page.
(d)
Push the LSK adjacent to <INDEX to show the INIT REF INDEX 1/1 page.
(e)
Push the LSK adjacent to MAINT> to show the MAINT BITE INDEX 1/1 page.
(f)
Push the LSK adjacent to <DFCS to show the DFCS BITE TEST LINE MAINT 1/2 page.
(g)
Ignore the message "MOVE FMC TRANSFER SWITCH TO BOTH ON L" shows on the CDU and keep the position of the FMC transfer switch in the NORMAL position.
(h)
Stop for approximately 15 seconds.
(i)
Push the LSK adjacent to <PUSH IF NO RESPONSE.
(j)
Push the LSK adjacent to <CONTINUE.
(k)
Push the NEXT PAGE key on the CDU keyboard to show the DFCS BITE OVERNIGHT MAINT 2/2 page.
(l)
Push the LSK adjacent to <GROUND FUNCTIONAL TEST.
NOTE: The CDU display will show TEST IN PROGRESS during the
____ 13-second cross-channel test.

Make sure the CDU display shows "*CHANNEL A NOT POWERED".
(n)
Push the LSK adjacent to <CHANNEL B.
(o)
Push the LSK adjacent to <TEST SELECTION.
(p)
Use the CDU keyboard to put the library test 18 into the scratchpad.
(q)
Push the LSK 6R to put the library test 18 on the screen and in the memory.
(r)
Push the LSK adjacent to <EXECUTE to do the test 60.18 (FMC).
(s)
Follow the instructions as shown on the CDU display but keep the AFCS A FCC DC circuit breaker open and FMC transfer switch in the NORMAL position.
(t)
Push the LSK adjacent to <CONTINUE.
(u)
Make sure that the CDU display shows "DFCS TEST PASSED".
(v)
Push the LSK adjacent to <CONTINUE.
(w)
Push the LSK adjacent to <EXIT.
(x)
Close the AFCS A FCC DC circuit breaker on the P18-1 panel.
(y)
Open the FMCS CMPTR No. 2 circuit breaker on the P6-1 panel.
(z)
Make sure the FMC transfer switch to NORMAL position.
(aa) Stop for approximately 20 seconds.
(ab) Push the INIT/REF key on the CDU keyboard to show the POS INIT
page or PERF INIT page.
(ac) Push the LSK adjacent to <INDEX to show the INIT REF INDEX 1/1 page.
(ad) Push the LSK adjacent to MAINT> to show the MAINT BITE INDEX 1/1 page.
(ae) Push the LSK adjacent to <DFCS to show the DFCS BITE TEST LINE MAINT 1/2 page.
(af) Ignore the message "MOVE FMC TRANSFER SWITCH TO BOTH ON L" on the CDU display and keep the FMC transfer switch in the NORMAL position.
(ag) Push the LSK adjacent to <PUSH IF NO RESPONSE.
(ah) Push the LSK adjacent <CONTINUE.
(ai) Push the NEXT PAGE key on the CDU keyboard to show the DFCS
BITE OVERNIGHT MAINT 2/2 page. (aj) Push the LSK adjacent to <GROUND FUNCTIONAL TEST.
