Make a note of the 4-character in the hexadecimal code format (i.e., WXYZ). Make sure that the value of the fourth character Z is 6.
(s)
Set the APU GEN 1 switch to the ON position.
(t)
Make sure that the fourth character Z changes from 6 to E.
(u)
Set the APU GEN 2 to the OFF position to do the generator failure simulation.
(v)
Make sure that the right TRANSFER BUS OFF light comes on and goes off.
(w)
Do the steps (k) thru (q) until the CDU display shows the CHANNEL SELECTION page.
(x)
Use the CDU keyboard to put the code 200 into the scratchpad.
(y)
Push the LSK 6R.
(z)
Use the CDU keyboard to put B into the scratchpad. (aa) Push the LSK 6R to show the FCC memory contents of channel B. (ab) Use the CDU keyboard to put the memory location 3307 into the
scratchpad.
(ac) Push the LSK 6L.
NOTE: The memory location and the contents will show on

(1) Do the bus isolation test:
(a) Set the meter selector switch for the Transformer Rectifier Unit (TRU) on the Pilots' Overhead Panel to the TR2 position.

(b) Open the AFCS B FCC DC circuit breaker on the P6-2 Circuit
Breaker Panel.
(c) Open the TR2 and TR3 circuit breakers on the P6-4 Circuit
Breaker Panel.
(d) Make sure that the DC voltmeter on the Pilots' Overhead Panel,
P5-13 reads 22 to 30v dc.
(e) Push the INIT/REF key on the CDU keyboard to show the POS INIT
page or PERF INIT page.
(f) Push the LSK adjacent to <INDEX to show the INIT REF INDEX 1/1
page.
(g) Push the LSK adjacent to MAINT> to show the MAINT BITE INDEX
1/1 page.
(h) Push the LSK adjacent to <DFCS to show the DFCS BITE TEST LINE
MAINT 1/2 page.
(i) Push the NEXT PAGE key on the CDU keyboard to show the DFCS
BITE TEST OVERNIGHT MAINT 2/2 page.
(j) Push the LSK adjacent to <GROUND FUNCTIONAL.
