 ROLL CONTROL WHEEL STEERING FORCE TRANSDUCER - ADJUSTMENT/TEST

 1.  General_______
 A.  This procedure contains three tasks. The first two tasks are for the adjustment of the roll force transducer. In the first task, you use the F80218-42 test set to do the adjustment. In the second task, you use the DFCS BITE (airplanes with -912 and on FCC) to do the adjustment. You can use one of these tasks to do the adjustment. The third task is the roll force transducer test.
 B.  The adjustment of the roll force transducer is important. If the adjustment is not correct, you cannot engage the autopilot.

 (3)  S 865-004Turn the control wheel +/- 30 degrees. wheel to the center. Then slowly turn the control
 NOTE:____ The power control units must be serviceable for the correct adjustment of the cables in relation to the transducer.
