 (1)  Supply hydraulic power (Ref 29-15-00/201).
 (2)  S 865-013Engage the autopilot channel A (or B as applicable) in the CWS mode.
 (3)  S 715-014Make sure that the CWS ROLL and CWS PITCH modes are shown on the flight mode annunciator.
 (4)  S 715-015Do a check on the valves for the A/P elevator actuators: (a) Push the control column forward and make sure that the elevator moves down.
 NOTE:____ You will feel the pressure increases when you push the control column.
 (b) (c)  Make sure that the autopilot channel A (or B as applicable) stays in the CWS mode.Pull the control column rearward and make sure that the elevator moves up.
 NOTE:____ You will feel the pressure increases when you pull the control column.
 (d) (e) (f)  Make sure that the autopilot channel A (or B as applicable) stays in the CWS mode.Put the control column to the center and make sure that the control column goes back to the center.Make sure that the autopilot channel A (or B as applicable) stays in the CWS mode.
 (5)  S 715-016Do a check on the valves for the A/P aileron actuators: (a) Turn the control wheel in the left direction and make sure that the left aileron moves up.
 NOTE:____ You will feel the pressure increases when you turn the control wheel.
 (b) (c)  Make sure that the autopilot channel A (or B as applicable) stays in the CWS mode.Turn the control wheel in the right direction and make sure that the left aileron moves down.
 NOTE:____ You will feel the pressure increases when you turn the control wheel.
 (d)  Make sure that the autopilot channel A (or B as applicable) stays in the CWS mode.

 (e) (f)  Turn the control wheel to the center and make sure that the left aileron goes back to the center.Make sure that the autopilot channel A (or B as applicable) stays in the CWS mode.
 (6)  S 865-017Disengage the autopilot channel A (or B as applicable).
 (7)  S 715-018Make sure that you can move the control column or control wheel with less pressure than with the autopilot engaged.
 (8)  S 865-019Remove electrical power if it is not necessary (Ref 24-22-00/201).
 (9)  S 865-020Remove hydraulic power if it is not necessary (Ref 29-15-00/201).

 AILERON FORCE LIMITER - REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

 1.  General_______
 A.  This procedure contains two tasks. The first task is for the removal of the aileron force limiter. The second task is for the installation of the aileron force limiter.
 B.  You can find the aileron force limiter at the bottom of the captain's control column on the drum shaft assembly of the aileron (Fig. 401).
