(p) Make sure that the trailing edge of the aileron aligns with the
zero position |0.23 inch.
NOTE: The plus direction is the right aileron up from the zero____
position.
NOTE: Zero position is the point when the index plate____
on the aileron inboard end aligns with the index plate
of the structure.
(q) Set the SOLENOID B switch to the B NORM position.
(r) Make sure that the right aileron moves down to 1.00 |0.20
inches. Keep a record of the right aileron position.
(s) Set the SOLENOID A switch to the +HDOVR position.
(t) Make sure that the trailing edge of the aileron does not move
down more than 0.20 inch. Keep a record of the trailing edge
position.
(u) Set the SOLENOID A switch to the -HDOVR position.
(v) Make sure that the trailing edge of the aileron aligns with the
zero position |0.23 inch. Keep a record of the trailing edge
position.
(w) Set the SOLENOID A switch to the A NORM position.
(x) Make sure that the right aileron moves down to 1.00 |0.20
inches. Keep a record of the right aileron position.
(y) Set the SOLENOID EXCITATION ENGAGE A and ENGAGE B switches to
the OFF position.
(z) Turn the POSITION CONTROL A switch until the voltage across the
J10A and J11A is at the lowest value (A actuator at null).
keep a record of the voltage.
(aa) Turn the POSITION CONTROL B switch until the voltage across the J10B and J11B is at the lowest value (A actuator at null). The voltage across J10B and J11B must be the same as the above step |0.045 volt.
(ab) Set the SOLENOID EXCITATION ENGAGE A and ENGAGE B switches to the ON position.
(ac) Make sure that the right aileron aligns with the zero position |0.03 inch.
(ad) Set the SOLENOID EXCITATION ENGAGE A switch to the OFF then ON
position.
(ae) Make sure that the ailerons stays in the zero position.
(af) Set the SOLENOID EXCITATION ENGAGE B switch to the OFF then to
the ON position.
(ag) Make sure that the ailerons stays at the zero position.
(ah) At the same time set the SOLENOID A switch to the +HDOVR
position and the SOLENOID B switch to the -HDOVR position.

(ai) Make sure that the ailerons do not move more than |0.20 inch. Keep a record of the aileron positions.
(aj) Set the SOLENOID A switch to the A NORM position and SOLENOID B switch to the B NORM position.
(ak) Make sure that the ailerons aligns with the zero position |0.03 inch.
(al) At the same time set the SOLENOID A switch to the -HDOVR position and SOLENOID B switch to +HDOVR position.
(am) Make sure that the ailerons do not move more than |0.20 inch.
Keep a record of the aileron positions.
(an) Set the SOLENOIDS ON/OFF (Center Switch) to the OFF position.
(ao) Set the POWER switch to the OFF position.
