(b) Three types of warning causes the A/T warning light to flash, these warnings are: the airspeed is ten knots above the target speed and not decelerating; the airspeed is five knots below the target speed and not accelerating; the airspeed has dropped to the alpha floor (1.3 time stall speed) during a dual A/P approach.
G. F/D Warning Flag and Bar Bias Operation (Fig. 20)

The local (LCL) F/D commands is normally supplied to the EFIS symbol generator. This information is displayed on the EADI by command bars, if the F/D switch is on. However, if a bar bias is received by the symbol generator, the respective bar is removed. The FGN command is sent to the symbol generator if an A.C. bus transfer is made during TO/GA or F/D approach with GS and LOC engaged and a radio altitude of less than 800 feet. Roll and pitch bar bias is shown on the table following this schematic.

The roll bar bias Fig. 21, is used to bias the F/D bar out of view if information is not reliable. The matrix displays the events and associated mode that generates roll bar bias.

Event 1 - Flight director off.
(b)
Event 2 - Flight director on but a mode not selected.
(c)
Event 3 - The selected VHF NAV is not valid. A delay time of 8 seconds for a VOR frequency or 2 seconds for LOC is provided.
(d)
Event 4 - Selected L NAV computer is not valid.
(e)
Event 5 - A VOR frequency is tuned after capturing the localizer.
(f)
Event 6 - The foreign A/P is in CMD and LOC capture, however, the localizer has a VOR frequency tuned.
(g)
Event 7 - The foreign A/P is in CMD and the VOR captured, however, the LOC frequency is tuned.
(h)
Event 8 - The radio altimeter is not valid for more than 2 seconds.
(i)
Event 9 - A radio altitude of less than 50 feet (flare).
(j)
Event 10 - The true air speed (TAS) is not valid.
(k)
Event 11 - Selected IRU magnetic track is not valid.
(l)
Event 12 - Selected IRU roll angle is not valid.
