A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1)
Make sure that the access platform is in position
(2)
Make sure that the warning notices are in position
(3)
Make the thrust reverser unserviceable (Ref. TASK 78-30-00-481-041).
(4)
Make sure that the hydraulic system is depressurized (Ref. TASK 29-00-00-864-001)
(5)
Make sure that the hydraulic reservoir is depressurized (Ref. TASK 29-14-00-614-001)
(6)
Make sure that you obey the safety procedure of the hydraulic system. (Ref. TASK 29-00-00-910-002)

4. Procedure

Subtask 54-54-00-420-050
A. Installation of the Aft Fixed Fairing
(Ref. Fig. 402/TASK 54-54-00-991-002)
(1)
Put the aft fixed fairing in position.
(2)
Install the bolts (10) and the nuts (11).
(3)
Install the washer (14), the bolt (16), the washer (18) and the nut (17).
(4)
Install the bolt (13) and the nut (15).
(5)
Install the bolt (21), the washer (20), the nut (19). Tighten the nut.
NOTE : The bolt (21) must be installed with the head down.

(6)
TORQUE the nuts (11) and (12) to between 2.6 and 3 m.daN (19.17 and
22.12 lbf.ft).
(7)
TORQUE the nut (9) to between 0.35 and 0.45 m.daN (30.97 and 39.82 lbf.in).
(8)
TORQUE the nut (17) to between 3.6 and 4.1 m.daN (26.54 and 30.23 lbf.ft).
(9)
TORQUE the nut (15) to 1.5 m.daN (11.06 lbf.ft).
(10)
Put the bonding lead (22) in position.
(11)
Install the washer (23). Install the screw (24) and tighten it. NOTE : Do an electrical bonding of the screw (24) when you install it

B. Installation of the Hydraulic Lines

WARNING : OBEY THE HYDRAULIC SAFETY PROCEDURES.

(1)
Remove the blanking plugs from the disconnected line ends.
(2)
Connect the drain lines (7) and (8).
(3)
Install the lines (1), (2), (3) and (4).
(4) Install the bolt (5). Install the nut (6) and tighten it. Subtask 54-54-00-710-050
C. Operational Test of the Hydraulic System
(1)
Do a dry motoring (Ref. TASK 71-00-00-710-001).
(2)
Pressurize the Green hydraulic system (Ref. TASK 29-10-00-863-001)
(3)
Pressurize the Yellow hydraulic system (Ref. TASK 29-10-00-863-002)
(4)
Pressurize the blue hydraulic system (Ref. TASK 29-10-00-863-003)
(5)
Pressurize the hydraulic reservoir system (Ref. TASK 29-14-00-614-002)
(6)
Make sure that the hydraulic lines (1), (2), (3) and (4) are sealed.
