R (1) Open the fan cowl doors (Ref. TASK 71-13-00-010-040). FOR 1000EM1 437AL, 438AR FOR 1000EM2 447AL, 448AR
R (2) Open the thrust reverser doors (Ref. TASK 78-36-00-010-040). FOR 1000EM1 451AL, 452AR FOR 1000EM2 461AL, 462AR
R (3) Put an access platform in position.
R (a) At the zone 470 for the left pylon.
R (b) At the zone 480 for the right pylon.
(4) Remove the access panels.
(a) For the left pylon: 473AL, 473AR, 473BL, 473CL.
(b) For the right pylon: 483AL, 483AR, 483BL, 483CL.

E. Cleaning of the Structure
WARNING : USE SOLVENTS/CLEANING AGENTS, SEALANTS AND OTHER SPECIAL_______ MATERIALS ONLY WITH A GOOD SUPPLY OF AIR. OBEY THE MANUFACTURERS INSTRUCTIONS. PUT ON PROTECTIVE CLOTHING. DO NOT GET THEM IN YOUR MOUTH. DO NOT SMOKE. DO NOT BREATHE THE GAS. THESE MATERIALS ARE POISONOUS, FLAMMABLE AND SKIN IRRITANT. GET MEDICAL HELP IF YOUR SKIN OR EYES BECOME IRRITATED.
R R R (1) Clean the inspection area With CLEANING AGENTS (Material No. 11-004) and a lint-free cotton cloth MISCELLANEOUS (Material No. 19-003), if necessary.

A. Inspection (Ref. Fig. 605/TASK 54-51-00-991-004)
R R (1) Do a detailed inspection of the internal structure of the pylon lower spar, between RIB1 and RIB10.
(2) Make sure that there is no:
R R R (a) Corrosion damage: - If corrosion damage found, refer to the Structural Repair Manual (Ref. SRM 512200-P.Block001) for types of corrosion, inspection, removal and corrosion protection.
R R (b) Other damage (cracks, scratches, stress, marks dents, bumps,...): - If other damage found, refer to the Structural Repair Manual (Ref. SRM 511100-P.Block001) for damage classification and associated corrective action.
