A. Safety Precautions
(1)
On the center pedestal, on the ENG panel 115VU:
(a) Put a warning notice to tell persons not to start the engine.
(2)
Make sure that the engine 1(2) shutdown occurred not less than 5 minutes before you do this procedure.
(3)
On the overheat maintenance panel 50VU:
(a) Make sure that the ON legend of the ENG/FADEC GND PWR/1(2) pushbutton switch is off.
(b) Put a warning notice to tell persons not to energize the FADEC. Subtask 54-51-00-010-064
B. Get Access
(1)
Put an ACCESS PLATFORM 3M (10 FT)- ADJUSTABLE in position at the zones 410 and 420.
(2)
Use a FLASHLIGHT, if necessary.

D. Cleaning of the Structure
WARNING : USE SOLVENTS/CLEANING AGENTS, SEALANTS AND OTHER SPECIAL
_______ MATERIALS ONLY WITH A GOOD SUPPLY OF AIR. OBEY THE MANUFACTURERS INSTRUCTIONS. PUT ON PROTECTIVE CLOTHING. DO NOT GET THEM IN YOUR MOUTH. DO NOT SMOKE. DO NOT BREATHE THE GAS. THESE MATERIALS ARE POISONOUS, FLAMMABLE AND SKIN IRRITANT. GET MEDICAL HELP IF YOUR SKIN OR EYES BECOME IRRITATED.
(1) Clean the inspection area with CLEANING AGENTS (Material No. 11-004) and a lint-free cotton cloth MISCELLANEOUS (Material No. 19-003), if necessary.
4. Procedure

A. Inspection R (Ref. Fig. 619/TASK 54-51-00-991-015)
(1)
Do a detailed inspection of the lateral panel of the pylon in the fasteners areas at the access-door cutout corners. This inspection is applicable to the external surface between RIB2 and RIB3, left and right sides.
(2)
Make sure that there is no:
(a)
Corrosion damage:
-If you find corrosion damage, refer to the Structural Repair Manual (Ref. SRM 512200-P.Block001) for types of corrosion, inspection, removal and corrosion protection.
(b)
Other damage (cracks, scratches, stress, marks dents, bumps,...):
-If you find other damage, refer to the Structural Repair Manual (Ref. SRM 511100-P.Block001) for damage classification and corrective action.
