A. Safety Precautions
(1)
On the center pedestal, on the ENG panel 115VU:
(a) Put a warning notice to tell persons not to start the engine.
(2)
Make sure that the engine 1(2) shutdown occurred not less than 5 minutes before you do this procedure.
(3)
On the overhead maintenance panel 50VU:
(a)
Make sure that the ON legend of the ENG/FADEC GND PWR/1(2) pushbutton switch is off.
(b)
Put a warning notice to tell persons not to energize the FADEC 1(2).

B. Get Access
(1) Put an access platform in position :
(a) at the zone 470 for the left pylon.
(b) at the zone 480 for the right pylon. Subtask 54-53-11-040-050
C. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Make the thrust reverser unserviceable (Ref. TASK 78-30-00-481-041).
4. Procedure

A. Removal of the Pressure Relief Door
(Ref. Fig. 401/TASK 54-53-11-991-001)
(1)
Remove the eight screws (5) and washers (6).
(2)
Remove the panel (9).
(3)
Remove the nuts (8) and the screws (1).
(4)
Remove the nuts (7), the screws (4) and the washers (3).
(5)
Remove the pressure relief door (2).

A. Installation of the Pressure Relief Door
(Ref. Fig. 401/TASK 54-53-11-991-001)
(1)
Put the pressure relief door (2) in position.
(2)
Install the washers (3), the screws (4), the nuts (7) and tighten them.
(3)
Install the screws (1), the nuts (8) and tighten them.
(4)
Install the panel (9).
(5)
Install the washers (6), the screws (5) and tighten them.
