A. Safety Precautions
(1)
On the center pedestal, on the ENG panel 115VU:
(a) Put a warning notice to tell persons not to start the engine.
(2)
Make sure that the engine 1(2) shutdown occurred not less than 5 minutes before you do this procedure.
(3)
On the overhead maintenance panel 50VU:
(a)
Make sure that the ON legend of the ENG/FADEC GND PWR/1(2) pushbutton switch is off.
(b)
Put a warning notice to tell persons not to energize the FADEC 1(2).

B. Engine Removal
(1) Remove the engine (Ref. TASK 71-00-00-000-042).

C. Get Access
(1) Put an access platform in position:
(a) At zone 410 for the left pylon.
(b) At zone 420 for the right pylon. R (2) Remove the pylon lateral access-doors (Ref. TASK 54-51-21-000-001):
(a)
For the left pylon: 415AL, 415AR.
(b)
For the right pylon: 425AL, 425AR.

A. Removal of the Pylon-to-Engine Aft Attach-Fittings
(Ref. Fig. 401/TASK 54-51-18-991-001)
(1)
Remove the bolts (1) and the lockwashers (2).
(2)
Remove the nuts (7) and (8), the locking plates (6), the bolts (3) and (4) and the locking plates (5).
(3)
Remove the pylon-to-engine aft attach-fittings (9).

Before installation, make sure that the bolts (3) and (4) are in the correct condition, if necessary replace the bolt (3) and the bolt (4).
