R R (b) Install the bolts (24), the washers (25) and the nuts (26) to attach the fitting (12) to the bracket (23).
R (c) Put the cowl stop assembly (5) in position.
R (d) Install the stirrup (17), the bolt (19), the washer (18) and the nut (16).
R (e) Install the bolt (13) and the nut (15) to connect the tube end (14) to the fitting (12).
R (f) Tighten the nuts (15) and (16).
R (g) TORQUE the nuts (11) to between 14 and 16 m.daN (103.24 and 117.99 lbf.ft).

R A. Safety Precautions
R (1) On the center pedestal, on the ENG panel 115VU:
R (a) Put a warning notice to tell persons not to start the engine.
R (2) Make sure that the engine 1(2) shutdown occurred not less than 5
R minutes before you do this procedure.
R (3) On the overhead maintenance panel 50VU:
R (a) Make sure that the ON legend of the ENG/FADEC GND PWR/1(2)
R pushbutton switch is off.

R (b) Put a warning notice to tell persons not to energize the FADEC
R 1(2).

R (2) Remove the nuts (8) and the washers (7).
R (3) Remove the bolts (3) and the washers (4).
R (4) Remove the thrust reverser cowl fitting (2) and the shim (5).
R NOTE : Record the position of the shim (5) and the location and____
R thickness of the peel washers (9) installed on the shim (5).
R Do this to put the shim (5) at the same position at the
R installation.
