Subtask 54-51-17-481-051
A. Installation of a Dynamometric Cell and Jack
(1)
Install the ADAPTOR - DYNAMOMETRIC AT RIB 1 (98A54403024001) on the jack.
(2)
Put the jack in position under the attach fitting at RIB1. Intall a dynamometric cell on the jack and apply an upper force of 0 kg (0.0000 lb) to 150 kg (330.6933 lb).

B. Removal of the Pylon-to-Wing Aft Attach Fitting
(1)
Remove the cotter pin (39).
(Ref. Fig. 405/TASK 54-51-17-991-007)
(2)
Lock the bolt (31) with a pin wrench of the PYLON REMOVAL-WRENCH (98D54503000000). Remove the nut (40) with a pin wrench of the PYLON REMOVAL-WRENCH (98D54503000000).
(3)
Remove the bolt (31).
(4)
Release the nut (41). Lock the sleeve (30) with a special wrench. Remove the nut (41) with a pin wrench of the PYLON REMOVAL-WRENCH (98D54503000000).
(5)
Remove the lockwasher (42) and discard it.
(6)
Remove the sleeve (30) with the extractor PYLON SHAFT EXTRACTOR RIB 4/RIB 10 (98D54003005000)
(7)
Remove the cotter pins (38) and discard them.
(8)
Lock the bolt (33) with a pin wrench of the PYLON REMOVAL-WRENCH (98D54503000000). Remove the nut (37) with a pin wrench of the PYLON REMOVAL-WRENCH (98D54503000000).
(9)
Remove the bolt (33).

Release the nut (36). Lock the sleeve (32) with a special wrench. Remove the nut (36) with a pin wrench of the PYLON REMOVAL-WRENCH (98D54503000000).

Remove the lockwashers (35) and discard them.

Remove the sleeve (32) with the extractor PYLON SHAFT EXTRACTOR RIB 4/RIB 10 (98D54003005000).

Remove the shackles (34). NOTE : Increase the upper force continuously and equally until you
