(1)
Make the thrust reverser unserviceable (Ref. TASK 78-30-00-481-041). Subtask 54-54-00-010-050
E. Get Access
(1)
Put the access platform in position:
(a)
at the zone 470 for the left pylon
(b)
at the zone 480 for the right pylon
(2)
Remove these panels :
(a) For the left pylon 471CL, 475BL, 476BR.
(b)
for the right pylon 482CR, 486BR, 485BL. Subtask 54-54-00-020-050
F. Removal of the Fairing
(1) Remove the aft movable fairing (Ref. TASK 54-55-00-000-001).
(2)
Remove the lower fairing (Ref. TASK 54-56-00-000-001). Subtask 54-54-00-020-052
G. Removal of the Hydraulic Lines
(Ref. Fig. 401/TASK 54-54-00-991-001)
WARNING : OBEY THE HYDRAULIC SAFETY PROCEDURES.

(1)
Remove the nut (6) and the bolt (5).
(2)
Remove the lines (1), (2), (3) and (4).
(3)
Put a container capacity in position to collect the hydraulic fluid.
(4)
Disconnect the drain lines (7) and (8).
(5)
Put blanking plugs on the disconnected line ends.

4. Procedure

A. Removal of the Aft Fixed Fairing
(Ref. Fig. 402/TASK 54-54-00-991-002)
(1)
Remove the screw (24) and the washer (23).
(2)
Disconnect the bonding lead (22).
(3)
Remove the nut (19), the washer (20) and the bolt (21).
(4)
Remove the nut (15) and the bolt (13).
(5)
Remove the nut (17), the washer (18), the bolt (16) and the washer (14).
(6)
Loosen the nuts (9) and (12).
(7)
Remove the nuts (11) and the bolts (10).
(8) Remove the aft fixed fairing. R NOTE : Two persons are necessary to move the aft fixed fairing.
