A. Safety Precautions
R (1) On the center pedestal, on the ENG panel 115VU:
(a) Put a warning notice to tell persons not to start the engine.
(2) Make sure that the engine 1(2) shutdown occurred not less than 5 minutes before you do this procedure.
(3) On the overheat maintenance panel 50VU:
(a) Make sure that the ON legend of the ENG/FADEC GND PWR/1(2) pushbutton switch is off.
(b) Put a warning notice to tell persons not to energize the FADEC.

R (1) Put an access platform in position.
R (a) At the zone 410 for the left pylon.
R (b) At the zone 420 for the right pylon.

R C. Removal of the Components
R R NOTE : Do the shackle inspection in two steps to prevent misalignment of____ the pylon: Remove the shackle from one side of the pylon. Then do the inspection. Install the shackle. Remove the shackle from the other side of the pylon. Then do the inspection. Install the shackle.
(1) Remove the shackles, the sleeves and the bolts (Ref. TASK 54-51-17-000-001).

D. Cleaning of the Structure
WARNING : USE SOLVENTS/CLEANING AGENTS, SEALANTS AND OTHER SPECIAL_______ MATERIALS ONLY WITH A GOOD SUPPLY OF AIR. OBEY THE MANUFACTURERS INSTRUCTIONS. PUT ON PROTECTIVE CLOTHING. DO NOT GET THEM IN YOUR MOUTH. DO NOT SMOKE. DO NOT BREATHE THE GAS. THESE MATERIALS ARE POISONOUS, FLAMMABLE AND SKIN IRRITANT. GET MEDICAL HELP IF YOUR SKIN OR EYES BECOME IRRITATED.
R R R (1) Clean the inspection area with CLEANING AGENTS (Material No. 11-004) and a lint-free cotton cloth MISCELLANEOUS (Material No. 19-003), if necessary.
