R (1) Make sure that the access platform and the warning notices are in R position.

R NOTE : The installation at Rib1 is the same for Rib2.____
R (1) Obey the location and thickness of the peel washers (9) recorded at
R the removal.
R (2) Put the shim (5) in the correct position on the pylon.
R (3) Put the thrust reverser cowl fitting (2) in position.
R (4) Install the wahers (4) on the bolts (3).
R (5) Install the bolts (3) with SPECIAL MATERIALS (Material No. 05-047).
R (6) Install the washers (7) and the nuts (8).
R (7) Tighten the nuts (8).

R (1) Install the access panels:
R (a) for the left pylon: 415AL, 415AR.
R (b) for the right pylon: 425AL, 425AR.
R (2) Remove the access platform(s).
R (3) Remove the warning notice(s).
R (4) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tool(s) and other R items.

A. Safety Precautions
(1)
On the center pedestal, on the ENG panel 115VU:
(a) Put a warning notice to tell persons not to start the engine.
(2)
Make sure that the engine 1(2) shutdown occurred not less than 5 minutes before you do this procedure.
(3)
On the overhead maintenance panel 50VU:
(a)
Make sure that the ON legend of the ENG/FADEC GND PWR/1(2) pushbutton switch is off.
(b)
Put a warning notice to tell persons not to energize the FADEC 1(2).

B. Get Access
(1)
Put the access platform in position:
(a)
At the zone 415 for the left pylon.
(b)
At the zone 425 for the right pylon.
(2)
Open the thrust reverser doors (Ref. TASK 78-36-00-010-040).
