A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1)
Make sure that the access platform is in position.
(2)
Make sure that the warning notice(s) is(are) in position.
(3)
Make sure that the thrust reversers are unserviceable (Ref. TASK 78-30-00-481-041).
(4)
Make sure that the access doors are removed :
(a)
For the left pylon : 413DL, 413CL and 414CR.
(b)
For the right pylon : 423DL, 423CL and 424CR.
4. Procedure

A. Reactivation of the Pressure Relief Doors
(Ref. Fig. 401/TASK 54-52-00-991-003)
NOTE : Each pressure-relief door reactivation is symmetrical.

(1)
Install the pressure relief door (1) or (2).
(2)
Install the shims (20) and (19).
(3)
Install the washers (18) and (16), the bolt (17) and the nut (21). Tighten the nut.
(4)
Install the shims (4), (3), (15) and (14).
(5)
Install the washer (13), the bolt (12), the nut (5). Tighten the nut.
(6)
Install the shims (8) and (7), the pin (10) and the washers (6).
(7)
Install new cotter pins (9) and safety them.
(8)
Install the spring (11).

B. Test
(1) Open and close the pressure relief doors to make sure that they are installed correctly.
5. Close-up

A. Close Access
(1)
Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tool(s) and other items.
(2)
Install these access doors:
(a)
For the left pylon: 413DL, 413CL, 414CR.
(b)
For the right pylon: 423DL, 423CL, 424CR.
(3)
Remove the warning notice(s).
(4) Remove the access platform(s). Subtask 54-52-00-040-054
B. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Make the thrust reverser serviceable (Ref. TASK 78-30-00-081-041).

A. Safety Precautions
(1)
On the center pedestal, on the ENG panel 115VU:
(a) Put a warning notice to tell persons not to start the engine.
(2)
Make sure that the engine 1(2) shutdown occurred not less than 5 minutes before you do this procedure.
(3)
On the overhead maintenance panel 50VU:
(a)
Make sure that the ON legend of the ENG/FADEC GND PWR/1(2) pushbutton switch is off.
(b)
Put a warning notice to tell persons not to energize the FADEC 1(2).
