B. Deactivation of the Thrust Reverser WARNING : MAKE SURE THAT THE THRUST REVERSER IS LOCKED. IF NOT, THE
_______ THRUST REVERSER CAN OPERATE ACCIDENTALLY AND CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONNEL AND/OR DAMAGE TO THE REVERSER.
(1) Make the thrust reverser unserviceable (Ref. TASK 78-30-00-481-041).

A. Installation of the Pylon Lateral Access-Doors

(1) Install the pylon lateral access-door 415BL. NOTE : The procedure is the same for the pylon lateral access-doors

(a)
Put the access-door (1) in position and install the washers (2) and the screws (3).
(b)
TORQUE the screws (3) to between 0.82 and 1.06 m.daN (72.56 and
93.80 lbf.in).
(2) Install the pylon lateral access-door 415AL. NOTE : The procedure is the same for the pylon lateral access-doors

(b)
TORQUE the screws (4) to between 0.82 and 1.06 m.daN (72.56 and

Put the access-door (3) in position and install the washers (2) and the screws (1).
(b)
TORQUE the screws (1) to between 0.82 and 1.06 m.daN (72.56 and
93.80 lbf.in).
(c)
Install the washer (4), the captive screw (6) and the spring pin (5).
(d)
TORQUE the captive screws (6) to between 1.79 and 2.24 m.daN
(13.20 and 16.51 lbf.ft) .
(2) Install the pylon lateral access-door 415AL. NOTE : The procedure is the same for the pylon lateral access-doors

Put the access-door (8) in position and install the screws (7).
(b)
TORQUE the screws (7) to between 0.82 and 1.06 m.daN (72.56 and
