 (a) For cracks, nicks and scores: 1 Do a blending or burnishing operation,
_ 2 Make sure that the length and the depth of the cracks, the

 3 Permitted damage on corrosion resistant steel as follows:

Zone 1 : Permitted damage without repair

Zone 2 : Repair this damage before 6000 flights

Zone 3 : Repair this damage before 100 flights

Zone 4 : Repair this damage before 50 flights limit A for the pressure relief door limit B for all the other skins

 -
Zone 5 : Return to repair.


 (b) For dents and holes:
 1_ The depth of dents must not be more than 2% of the minimum
 width. Maximum depth is 2 mm (0.0787 in.) and maximum area is
 10 cm2 (1.55 in.2). If the dent is located near a stiffener,
 make sure that there are no cracks.
 2_ Holes are not permitted.

 A. Safety Precautions
 (1)
 On the center pedestal, on the ENG panel 115VU:

 (a) Put a warning notice to tell persons not to start the engine.

 (2)
 Make sure that the engine 1(2) shutdown occurred not less than 5 minutes before you do this procedure.

 (3)
 On the overhead maintenance panel 50VU:

 (a)
 Make sure that the ON legend of the ENG/FADEC GND PWR/1(2) pushbutton switch is off.

 (b)
 Put a warning notice to tell persons not to energize the FADEC 1(2).
