apply.

(7) Permit the last layer of the adhesive to dry until it is tacky.
It should not come off when you touch it lightly.
NOTE:____ It can be tacky but should not come off when you touch it
lightly. This will be 10 to 20 minutes at room temperature.

If it is necessary, lightly rub one surface of the adhesive with a clean cheesecloth soaked with methyl ethyl ketone . This will make it tacky.

Put the new rubber seal around the glass window while the adhesive is tacky.

Apply sufficient pressure to the seal to prevent air pockets.

You can install the assembly immediately.

Use a clean cheesecloth to clean these surfaces:
(a)
The internal surfaces of the viewer tube.
(b)
The top surface of the bottom plate.
(c)
The mirror bracket surfaces.

Make sure the drain holes in the bottom plate are open.
