 (3) Remove the forward lower roller (4) from the lower track (9):
 (a)  
Lift the lower front corner of the window assembly (2).

 (b)  
Move the window forward and aft in the track (approximately 1 inch) until the forward lower roller (4) aligns with the cutout (7) in the track lip.

 (c)  
Lift the lower front corner of the window and move the forward lower roller (4) through the cutout and out of the track (9).

 (4)  Remove the upper roller (1) from the upper track (11):
 (a)  Move the window assembly forward until the aft lower roller (10) and the cutout (7) in the track lip align.
 NOTE: With the window in this position the forward edge of the
____ clothing guard (5) will be approximately aligned with the forward edge of the lower track (9).
 (b)  
Move the window to make sure that the top edge of the window moves aft.

 (c)  
Make sure the aft lower roller (10) stays in its position when you move the window.

 (d)  
Remove the upper roller (1) from the upper track (11).

Lift the window to remove the aft lower roller (10) through the cutout (7) in the track lip.

 (6)
Disconnect the electrical leads for the window heat system:

 (a)  
Turn the top edge of the window assembly (2) inboard until you have access to the terminal board (6) on the clothing guard (5).

 (b)  
Put the window on a support.

 (c)  
Disconnect the electrical leads from the terminal board (6).

 (d)  
Install a tag on the electrical leads.

Prepare for the Window Installation (Fig. 402).

 WARNING:_______BE CAREFUL WHEN YOU DO WORK ON THE NO. 2 WINDOW. THE OUTPUT VOLTAGE OF THE AUTOTRANSFORMER IS 250-350 VOLTS. THIS CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS.
 (1)  Make sure that the power is off in the window heat system:
 (a)  
Make sure that the window heat switches are in the OFF position.

 (b)  
Make sure these circuit breakers are open and DO-NOT-CLOSE tags are installed: 1) P6-12 panel


 a) WINDOW ANTI-ICE R
 2) P6-11 panel
 a) WINDOW ANTI-ICE L

 (2)  
Clean the tracks, rollers and the areas around them with a rag which is moist with the solvent.

 (3)  
Apply the oil to the tracks, rollers and the mechanisms that touch the tracks.

 (4)  
Adjust the lower bellcranks (5 and 10), lockplate (4) and rod assembly (9):


 NOTE: The handle (3) must be against the window locked shut

 stop (2).

 (a)  On the bellcranks (5 and 10) make sure that the center of the special bolts (6) are 0.22 |0.03 inch forward of the center of the bellcrank shafts (12).
