(4) Polish the scratches in the window surface (Ref 56-11-21/801).
NOTE: It is not necessary to polish small scratches, 0.001 inch or
____ less. These scratches are not very important.
Scratches on the inner pane are not permitted if they are more than these limits. They cannot be more than 0.005 inch deep, one inch in length or more than 5 inches total of all scratches.
Do not polish the window pane to less than the thickness
shown.

(5) Examine the window for crazing.

NOTE: Replace the window if the crazing is more than these
