 (b)  Adjust the lockplate (4) and the rod assembly (9) if the dimension is not 0.22 |0.03 inch. 1) Loosen the three lockplate adjustment screws (1) that
 attach the lockplate (4) to the stiffener (8).
 NOTE: You must turn the handle (3) to get access to all of
____ the adjustment screws (1).
 2) Move the handle (3) against the locked shut stop (2). 3) Move the lockplate (4) to get the 0.22 |0.03 inch dimension
 at the forward lower bellcrank (5). 4) Tighten the three lockplate adjustment screws (1). 5) Move the handle (3) against the locked shut stop (2). 6) Loosen the locknuts on the ends of the rod assembly (9). 7) Adjust the rod length to get the 0.22 |0.03 inch dimension
 at the aft lower bellcrank (10). 8) Tighten the locknuts on the rod assembly (9).
 E. Install The Window No. 2 (Fig. 401)

 (1)  Do a visual check of the window post and sill for cracks and corrosion.

 CAUTION: MAKE SURE THAT YOU CONNECT THE WINDOW HEAT LEADS TO THE
_______ TRANSFORMER AT A POINT WHERE THE CODE IS THE SAME AS THE WINDOW RESISTANCE. YOU CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE WINDOW HEAT SYSTEM.
 (2)  Connect the window heat leads to the terminal board (6).
 NOTE:____The window is identified with the resistance code. It is etched in red on the glass or printed on a decal bonded to the glass near one of the bus bar terminals. To prevent any damage to the windshield heat system, refer to the wiring diagram manual (Ref. WDM 30-41-11, WDM 30-41-12).

 (3)  Put the aft lower roller (10) in the lower track (9).
 (a)  
Move the window until the forward edge of the clothing guard

 (5) and the forward edge of the lower track (9) align.

 (b)  
Put the aft lower roller (10) on the top of the lower track (9) and move the window to find the track lip cutout (7).

 (c)  
Put the aft lower roller (10) through the track lip cutout (7) and into the lower track (9).

 (4)  S 424-015-B00Put the upper roller (1) in the upper track (11): (a) Move the window so that the top edge of the window moves aft.
 NOTE:____ Make sure that the aft lower roller (10) stays in its position when you move the window.
 (b)  Put the upper roller (1) in the upper track (11).
 (5)  S 424-016-B00Put the forward lower roller (4) into the lower track (9): (a) Put the forward lower roller (4) on the lower track (9). (b) Move the window assembly (2) aft until the forward lower roller (4) goes through the track lip cutout (7).
 (6)  S 824-017-B00Do this task:  "Window No. 2 Adjustment" (Ref 56-12-11/501).
 (7)  S 864-018-B00Remove the DO-NOT-CLOSE tags and close these circuit breakers: (a) P6-12 panel 1) WINDOW ANTI-ICE R (b) P6-11 panel 1) WINDOW ANTI-ICE L
 (8)  S 714-019-B00Do this task: "Control Cabin Anti-Icing System Test" (Ref 30-41-00/501).

 1.  General_______
 A.  There are two tasks in this procedure. There is one task for the window No. 2 adjustment. There is also a task to do a operational check of the window No. 2.
