CAUTION: IF YOU WILL INSTALL THE MIDDLE PANE AGAIN, INSTALL A SHEET
_______ OF CLOTH OR EQUIVALENT MATERIAL TO THE MIDDLE PANE SURFACES WITH MASKING TAPE. THIS WILL PREVENT DAMAGE TO THE MIDDLE PANE AFTER YOU REMOVE THE MIDDLE PANE.
BE CAREFUL WHEN YOU MOVE AND TOUCH THE OUTER REVEAL. THE OUTER REVEAL IS PLASTIC AND CAN BE EASILY DAMAGED IF YOU ARE NOT CAREFUL.

Install a sheet of cloth or equivalent material to the middle pane surfaces.
(f)
Remove the middle pane.
(g)
Remove the middle pane seal.
(h)
Remove the outer reveal.
(i)
Examine the reveal seal.
(j)
If the reveal seal is damaged, remove the reveal seal carefully from the window inboard frame with a wooden or plastic scraper.
WARNING: DO NOT GET THE SOLVENT IN YOUR MOUTH OR EYES, OR ON YOUR
_______ SKIN. DO NOT BREATHE THE FUMES FROM THE SOLVENT. PUT ON THE GOGGLES AND GLOVES BEFORE YOU USE THE SOLVENT. KEEP THE SOLVENT AWAY FROM SPARKS, FLAME, AND HEAT. THE SOLVENT IS POISONOUS AND FLAMMABLE AND CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS OR DAMAGE TO THE AIRPLANE OR EQUIPMENT.
(k) Clean the surfaces of the window inboard frame and outer reveal with the solvent and a cheesecloth.

(l) Remove the spring retainer screws from each spring retainer.
CAUTION: DO NOT COMPRESS THE SPRING ASSEMBLY TO 0.18 INCH OR LESS
_______ WHEN YOU REMOVE THE SPRING RETAINERS. THIS CAN PERMANENTLY SET THE SPRING ASSEMBLY AND PREVENT A SATISFACTORY WEATHER SEAL WHEN YOU INSTALL THE OUTER PANE.
(m) Remove each spring retainer.

Remove the spring assembly for the outer pane.
(p)
Remove the outer pane from the window outboard frame.
(q)
Remove the outer pane seal from the window outboard frame.
