- remove the DEU-A (200RH24) (Ref. AMM TASK 23-73-46-000-001)
- install the DIR-CIDS (101RH) and DIR-CIDS (102RH) (Ref. AMM TASK 23-73-34-400-001).
- do the CIDS BITE test through the MCDU/CFDS (Ref. AMM TASK 23-73-00-740-005).
(b) If there is a short circuit:
- remove the DEU-A (200RH24) (Ref. AMM TASK 23-73-46-000-001)
- do a check for a short circuit again.
1_ If the CIDS BITE test gives the maintenance message DEU-A
200RH24:
- install a new DEU-A (200RH24) (Ref. AMM TASK 23-73-46-400-
001).
2_ If the CIDS BITE test gives the maintenance message CIDS TOP
LINE 2 R:
- install the removed DEU-A (200RH24) (Ref. AMM TASK 23-73-46-
400-001).
- do the steps 4. B. (5) (a) again for the subsequent DEUs
until the maintenance message stops: (Ref. ASM 23-73/06)

DEU-A (200RH14)
DEU-A (200RH10)
DEU-A (200RH6)
DEU-A (200RH2)
1 If there is no short circuit:
_
- install a new DEU-A (200RH24) (Ref. AMM TASK 23-73-46-400-001).
2 If the fault continues:
_
- disconnect the electrical connector 7253VC2 from the DEU mount 2014VU2 (Ref. AMM TASK 23-73-48-000-001).
- do a check for a short circuit again.

If there is no short circuit:
- install a new DEU mount 2014VU2 (Ref. AMM TASK 23-73-48-000-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 23-73-48-400-001).
If the fault continues:
- remove the DEU-A (200RH20) (Ref. AMM TASK 23-73-46-000-001)
- do a check for a short circuit again.
- b.1. If there is no short circuit:
- install a new DEU-A (200RH20) (Ref. AMM TASK 23-73-46-400-001).
- b.2. If the fault continues:
- install the removed DEU-A (200RH24) (Ref. AMM TASK 23-73-46-400-001),
- reconnect the electrical connector to the DEU mount 2014VU2 (Ref. AMM TASK 23-73-48-400-001),
- disconnect the electrical connector 7213VC20 from the DEU mount 2010VU20 (Ref. AMM TASK 23-73-48-000-001),
- do a check for a short circuit again.
- b.2.1. If there is no short circuit:
- do a check for a short circuit at the connector 7213VC20 between pin 9 and GND (pin 11) and between pin 10 and GND (pin 11).
- b.2.1.1. If there is a short circuit:
- repair the wiring between the DEU mount 2010VU20 and the DEU mount 2014VU2 (Ref. ASM 23-73/06).
- b.2.1.2. If there is no short circuit:
- install a new DEU mount 2010VU20 (Ref. AMM TASK 23-73-48-400-001).
- b.2.2. If there is a short circuit:
- install the removed DEU-A (200RH20) (Ref. AMM TASK 23-73-46-400-001),
- reconnect the electrical connector to the DEU mount 2010VU20 (Ref. AMM TASK 23-73-48-400-001),
- do the steps (4. B. (5) (b) 2 b) again for the subsequent DEUs and DEU mounts until the maintenance message stops: (Ref. ASM 23-73/06) DEU-A (200RH14) and DEU mount 2010VU14, DEU-A (200RH10) and DEU mount 2010VU10, DEU-A (200RH6) and DEU mount 2010VU6, DEU-A (200RH2) and DEU mount 2010VU2.
(6) If the resistance (line to line) is more than 200 ohms (open circuit):
- disconnect the electrical connector 7253VC2 from the DEU mount 2014VU2 (Ref. AMM TASK 23-73-48-000-001),
- make sure that the resistance (line to line) is not more than 200 ohms (open circuit) between: DEU mount 2014VU2 pin A/1 and pin A/2
(a) If there is an open circuit:
- install a new DEU mount 2014VU2 (Ref. AMM TASK 23-73-48-400-001)
(b) If there is no open circuit:
- reconnect the electrical connector to the DEU mount 2014VU2 (Ref. AMM TASK 23-73-48-400-001)
- disconnect the electrical connector 7213VC2 from the DEU mount 2010VU2 (Ref. AMM TASK 23-73-48-000-001),
- do a check of the wiring (continuity-check) between: DIR-CIDS (101RH) connector AA/F15 and the connector 7213VC2 pin A/1, DIR-CIDS (101RH) connector AA/G15 and the connector 7213VC2 pin A/2.
1 If there is no continuity:
_
- repair the wiring between the DIR-CIDS (101RH) and the connector 7213VC2 (Ref. ASM 23-73/06).
2 If there is continuity:
_
- do a check of the wiring (continuity-check) between: DEU mount 2010VU2 pin A/1 and pin A/9 , DEU mount 2010VU2 pin A/2 and pin A/10.
