(6) again for the subsequent DEU CONNECTION BOXES until the maintenance message stops: DIR-CIDS, 1 (101RH) and DEU CONNECTION BOX (208RH3) connector, DIR-CIDS, 1 (101RH) and DEU CONNECTION BOX (208RH5) connector, DIR-CIDS, 1 (101RH) and DEU CONNECTION BOX (208RH7) connector, DIR-CIDS, 1 (101RH) and DEU CONNECTION BOX (208RH9) connector, DIR-CIDS, 1 (101RH) and DEU CONNECTION BOX (208RH11) connector, DIR-CIDS, 1 (101RH) and DEU CONNECTION BOX (208RH13) connector, DIR-CIDS, 1 (101RH) and DEU TERMINATION BOX (209RH1) connector,
(7) If the resistance (line to line) is less than 80 ohms (short circuit):
- remove the DEU-A (200RH15) (Ref. AMM TASK 23-73-46-000-001).
- do a check for a short circuit again.
(a) If there is no short circuit:
- install a new DEU-A (200RH15) (Ref. AMM TASK 23-73-46-400-001).
(b) If there is a short circuit:
- install the removed DEU-A (200RH15) (Ref. AMM TASK 23-73-46-400-001).
- disconnect the electrical connector from the DEU TERMINATION BOX (209RH1) (Ref. ASM 23-73/06),
- do a check for a short circuit again.
1 If there is a short circuit:

- reconnect the electrical connector to the DEU TERMINATION BOX (209RH1),
- do the steps 4. B. (7) again for the subsequent DEUs and DEU CONNECTION BOXES until the maintenance message stops: (Ref. ASM 23-73/06) DEU-A (200RH13) and DEU CONNECTION BOX (208RH13), DEU-A (200RH11) and DEU CONNECTION BOX (208RH11), DEU-A (200RH9) and DEU CONNECTION BOX (208RH9), DEU-A (200RH7) and DEU CONNECTION BOX (208RH7), DEU-A (200RH5) and DEU CONNECTION BOX (208RH5), DEU-A (200RH3) and DEU CONNECTION BOX (208RH3), DEU-A (200RH1) and DEU CONNECTION BOX (208RH1),
2 If there is no short circuit:

- do a check for a short circuit at the disconnected connector between the pins A/9 and A/10 (Ref. ASM 23-73/06)

a If there is a short circuit:

- repair the wiring between the related CONNECTION BOX (208RHxx) and the DEU TERMINATION BOX (209RH1) CONNECTION BOX (208RHxx) (Ref. ASM 23-73/06).
b If there is no short circuit:
_
- replace the DEU TERMINATION BOX (209RH1) (Ref. AMM TASK 23-73-43-000-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 23-73-43-400-001).
R **ON A/C 401-499,
R B. If the Interface and Power-Up Test gives the maintenance message CIDS TOP
R BUS 1L/DIR1 (101RH):
R - remove the DIR-CIDS, 1 (101RH) (Ref. AMM TASK 23-73-34-000-001),
R - make sure that at least one cabin door is open,
R - close these CBs:
R 49VU: 157RH COM/CIDS/DIR/2
R 49VU: 18WH AIR COND/CIDS/SDF/DIR 2 ESS,
R 120VU:156RH COM NAV/CIDS/DIR/NORM/2
R 122VU: 14WH AIR COND/CIDS/SDF/DIR NORM/2
R - wait for approx. 120 s,
R - do the CIDS2 Interface and Power-Up Test via the MCDU/CFDS.
R (1) If the CIDS2 Interface and Power-Up Test is OK:
R - install a new DIR-CIDS, 1 (101RH) (Ref. AMM TASK 23-73-34-400-001).
R (2) If the fault continues:
R - remove the DIR-CIDS, 2 (102RH) (Ref. AMM TASK 23-73-34-000-001).
R - during the installation of the DIR-CIDS, 1 (101RH) do not close
R these CBs:
R 49VU: 157RH COM/CIDS/DIR/2
R 49VU: 18WH AIR COND/CIDS/SDF/DIR 2 ESS,
R 120VU:156RH COM NAV/CIDS/DIR/NORM/2
R 122VU: 14WH AIR COND/CIDS/SDF/DIR NORM/2
R - install the DIR-CIDS, 1 (101RH) (Ref. AMM TASK 23-73-34-400-001).
R - do the Interface and Power-Up Test via the MCDU/CFDS.
R (3) If the Interface And Power-Up Test is OK:
R - install a new DIR-CIDS, 2 (102RH) (Ref. AMM TASK 23-73-34-400-001).
R (4) If the fault continues:
R - remove the DIR-CIDS, 1 (101RH) (Ref. AMM TASK 23-73-34-000-001)
R - open these CBs:
R 49VU: 154RH COM NAV/CIDS/DEU A ESS/LINE 1
R 49VU: 155RH COM NAV/CIDS/DEU A ESS/LINE 2
R 120VU: 163RH COM NAV/CIDS/DEU A NORM/L FWD
R 120VU: 167RH COM NAV/CIDS/DEU A NORM/L AFT
R - make sure that the resistance (line to line) at DIR-CIDS, 1 (101RH)
R and DIR-CIDS, 2 (102RH) connector AA/D15 and connector AA/E15 is
R between approx. 80 and 120 ohms (Ref. ASM 23-73/06).
