A. Test
(1) Do the CIDS BITE test through the CFDS (Ref. AMM TASK 23-73-00-740-005).
(2) Do the operational test of the PA announcement from the cabin with the related cabin handsets (Ref. AMM TASK 23-73-00-710-005).
(3) Do the operational test of the cabin and flight-crew interphone system with the related cabin handsets (Ref. AMM TASK 23-73-00-710-003).
R **ON A/C 106-149, 301-399, 401-499,
A. Test
(1) Do the CIDS Interface and Power-Up Test via the CFDS (Ref. AMM TASK 23-73-00-740-010).
(2) Do the operational test of the PA announcement from the cabin with the related cabin handsets (Ref. AMM TASK 23-73-00-710-005).
(3) Do the operational test of the cabin and flight-crew interphone system with the related cabin handsets (Ref. AMM TASK 23-73-00-710-003).
**ON A/C ALL
4. Fault Isolation
_______________
A. If the test gives a different maintenance message, do the trouble shooting procedure related to the maintenance message.
**ON A/C 001-049, 051-099, 101-105, 201-299,
B. If there is no maintenance message, but there is a fault in one or both of the operational tests for two or more handsets:
- remove the DIR-CIDS, 1 (101RH) (Ref. AMM TASK 23-73-34-000-001),
- make sure that at least one cabin door is open.
- close these CBs:
49VU: 150RH (G02) CIDS/DIR 1 & 2/ESS
121VU:151RH (M05) CIDS/DIR 1 & 2/NORM,
- stop for approx. 120 s,
- do the operational tests again.
(1) If the tests are OK:
- install a new DIR-CIDS, 1 (101RH) (Ref. AMM TASK 23-73-34-400-001).
(2) If the fault continues:
- replace the related DEU-B 300RHx (Ref. AMM TASK 23-73-47-000-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 23-73-47-400-001).
R **ON A/C 106-149, 301-399, 401-499,
B. If there is no maintenance message, but there is a fault in one or both of the operational tests for two or more handsets:
- make sure that at least one cabin door is open.
- open these CBs:
49VU: 150RH COM/CIDS/DIR ESS/1,
49VU: 157RH COM/CIDS/DIR ESS/2,
