- do a check for a short circuit again.
1 If there is no short circuit:

- install a new DEU-B (300RH8) (Ref. AMM TASK 23-73-47-400-001).
2 If the fault continues:
_
- disconnect the electrical connector from the DEU TERMINATION BOX (309RH2).
- do a check for a short circuit again.

_
- install a new DEU TERMINATION BOX (309RH2) (Ref. AMM TASK 23-73-43-000-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 23-73-43-400-001).
b If the fault continues:
_
- install the removed DEU-B (300RH8) (Ref. AMM TASK 23-73-47-400-001),
- reconnect the electrical connector to the DEU TERMINATION BOX (309RH2) (Ref. ASM 23-73/06),
- remove the DEU-B (300RH6) (Ref. AMM TASK 23-73-47-000-001),
- do a check for a short circuit again.
- b.1. If there is no short circuit:
- install a new DEU-B (300RH6) (Ref. AMM TASK 23-73-47-400-001),
- b.2. If the fault continues:
- disconnect the electrical connector from the DEU CONNECTION BOX (308RH6),
- do a check for a short circuit again.
- b.2.1. If there is no short circuit:
- do a check for a short circuit at the disconnected connector between pin 9 and GND (pin 4) and between pin 10 and GND (pin 4).
- b.2.1.1. If there is a short circuit:
- repair the wiring between the DEU CONNECTION BOX (308RH6) and the DEU TERMINATION BOX (309RH2) (Ref. ASM 23-73/06).
- b.2.1.2. If there is no short circuit:
- install a new DEU CONNECTION BOX (308RH2) (Ref. AMM TASK 23-73-42-400-001)
- b.2.2. If there is a short circuit:
- install the removed DEU-B (300RH6) (Ref. AMM TASK 23-73-47-400-001),
- reconnect the electrical connector to the DEU CONNECTION BOX (308RH6),
- do the steps (4. B. (5) (b) 2 b) again for the subsequent DEU(s) and DEU CONNECTION BOX(es) until the maintenance message stops: (Ref. ASM 23-73/06) DEU CONNECTION BOX (308RH2).
(6) If the resistance (line to line) is more than 140 ohms (open circuit):
- disconnect the electrical connector from the DEU TERMINATION BOX (309RH2),
- make sure that the resistance (line to line) is not more than 140 ohms (open circuit) between: DEU TERMINATION BOX (309RH2) pin A/1 and pin A/2

(a) If there is an open circuit:
- install a new DEU TERMINATION BOX (309RH2) (Ref. AMM TASK 23-73-43-000-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 23-73-43-400-001).
(b) If there is no open circuit:
- reconnect the electrical connector to the DEU TERMINATION BOX (309RH2)
- disconnect the electrical connector from the DEU CONNECTION BOX (308RH2).
- do a check of the wiring (continuity-check) between: DIR-CIDS (101RH) connector AA/A14 and the DEU TERMINATION BOX connector pin A/2, DIR-CIDS (101RH) connector AA/B14 and the DEU TERMINATION BOX connector pin A/1.
1 If there is no continuity:
_
- repair the wiring between the DIR-CIDS (101RH) and the connector (Ref. ASM 23-73/06).
2 If there is continuity:
_
- do a check of the wiring (continuity-check) between: DEU CONNECTION BOX (308RH2) pin A/1 and pin A/9 , DEU CONNECTION BOX (308RH2) pin A/2 and pin A/10.
a If there is no continuity:
_
- install a new DEU CONNECTION BOX (308RH2) (Ref. AMM TASK 23-73-42-000-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 23-73-42-400-001).
b If there is continuity:
_
- reconnect the connector to the DEU CONNECTION BOX (308RH2)
- do the steps 4. B. (6) again for the subsequent DEU CONNECTION/ TERMINATION BOX(es) until the maintenance message stops: DIR-CIDS (101RH) and DEU CONNECTION BOX (308RH6)/connector, DIR-CIDS (101RH) and DEU TERMINATION BOX (309RH2)/connector.
(7) If the resistance (line to line) is less than 80 ohms (short circuit):
- remove the DEU-B (300RH8) (Ref. AMM TASK 23-73-47-000-001),
- do a check for a short circuit again.
(a) If there is no short circuit:
- install a new DEU-B (300RH8) (Ref. AMM TASK 23-73-47-400-001),
(b) If there is a short circuit:
