A. Do the CIDS BITE test through the CFDS (Ref. AMM TASK 23-73-00-740-005).
4. Fault Isolation

R A. If the test gives a different maintenance message, do the trouble R shooting procedure related to the maintenance message.
R **ON A/C 001-049, 051-099, 101-105, 201-299,
B. If the test confirms the fault:
- remove the DIR-CIDS1 (Ref. AMM TASK 23-73-34-000-001),
- make sure that at least one cabin door is open,
- close these CBs:
49VU: 150RH (G02) CIDS/DIR 1 & 2/ESS
121VU: 151RH (M05) CIDS/DIR 1 & 2/NORM
- stop for approx. 120 s,
- do the test again (start with step 4.).

(1) If the test is OK:
- install a new DIR-CIDS, 1 (101RH) (Ref. AMM TASK 23-73-34-400-001).
(2) If the fault continues:
- replace all related DEU-A 200RH (Ref. AMM TASK 23-73-46-000-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 23-73-46-400-001).
(a) If the fault continues:
- do a check and repair the wiring between the related: DEU mount connector A/8 and CB 163RH, DEU mount connector A/8 and CB 164RH, DEU mount connector A/8 and CB 165RH, DEU mount connector A/8 and CB 166RH, DEU mount connector A/8 and CB 167RH, DEU mount connector A/8 and CB 168RH, DEU mount connector A/5 and CB 154RH, DEU mount connector A/5 and CB 155RH, DEU mount connector A/7 and GND (Ref. ASM 23-73/06) and (Ref. ASM 23-73/07).
**ON A/C 151-199,
B. If the test confirms the fault:
- make sure that at least one cabin door is open.
- open these CBs:
49VU: 150RH (G01) COM DIR ESS/1
49VU: 157RH (G02) COM DIR ESS/2
121VU:151RH (M06) CIDS/DIR NORM/1
121VU:156RH (M07) CIDS/DIR NORM/2
- wait for approx. 10 s and close the CBs 156RH and 157RH,
- stop for approx 120 s,
- do the CIDS BITE test again (start with step 4.).
(1) If the test is OK:
- install a new DIR-CIDS, 1 (101RH) (Ref. AMM TASK 23-73-34-400-001).
(2) If the fault continues:
- replace all related DEU-A 200RH (Ref. AMM TASK 23-73-46-000-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 23-73-46-400-001).
(a) If the fault continues:
- do a check and repair the wiring between the related: DEU mount connector A/8 and CB 163RH, DEU mount connector A/8 and CB 164RH, DEU mount connector A/8 and CB 165RH, DEU mount connector A/8 and CB 166RH, DEU mount connector A/8 and CB 167RH, DEU mount connector A/8 and CB 168RH, DEU mount connector A/5 and CB 154RH, DEU mount connector A/5 and CB 155RH, DEU mount connector A/7 and GND
