R (5) If the resistance (line to line) is between approx. 80 and 120 ohms:
R - make sure that the resistance (line to GND) is not less than 200
R ohms (short circuit) between:
R DIR-CIDS, 1 (101RH) and DIR-CIDS, 2 (102RH) connector AA/D15 and
R GND,
R DIR-CIDS, 1 (101RH) and DIR-CIDS, 2 (102RH) connector AA/E15 and
R GND. (Ref. ASM 23-73/06)
R (a) If there is no short circuit:
R - remove the DEU-A (200RH15) (Ref. AMM TASK 23-73-46-000-001)
R - install the DIR-CIDS, 1 (101RH) and DIR-CIDS, 2 (102RH) (Ref.
R AMM TASK 23-73-34-400-001).
R - close these CBs:
R 49VU: 154RH COM NAV/CIDS/DEU A ESS/LINE 1
R 49VU: 155RH COM NAV/CIDS/DEU A ESS/LINE 2
R 120VU: 163RH COM NAV/CIDS/DEU A NORM/L FWD
R 120VU: 167RH COM NAV/CIDS/DEU A NORM/L AFT
R - do the CIDS Interface and Power-Up Test via the MCDU/CFDS (Ref.
R AMM TASK 23-73-00-740-010).
R 1_ If the CIDS Interface and Power-UP Test gives the maintenance
R message DEU-A (200RH15):
R - install a new DEU-A (200RH15) (Ref. AMM TASK 23-73-46-400-R 001).
R 2_ If the CIDS Interface and Power-Up Test gives the maintenance
R message CIDS TOP BUS 1L/DIR1
R - (101RH) install the removed DEU-A (200RH15) (Ref. AMM TASK
R 23-73-46-400-001).
R - do the steps 4. B. (5) (a) again for the subsequent DEUs
R until the maintenance message stops: (Ref. ASM 23-73/06)
R DEU-A (200RH13)
R DEU-A (200RH7)
R DEU-A (200RH3)
R DEU-A (200RH1)
R (b) If there is a short circuit:
R - remove the DEU-A (200RH15) (Ref. AMM TASK 23-73-46-000-001)
R - do a check for a short circuit again.
R 1_ If there is no short circuit:
R - install a new DEU-A (200RH15) (Ref. AMM TASK 23-73-46-400-R 001).
R 2_ If the fault continues:
R - disconnect the electrical connector from the DEU TERMINATION
R BOX (209RH1) (Ref. ASM 23-73/06).
R - do a check for a short circuit again.
R a_ If there is no short circuit:
R - replace the DEU TERMINATION BOX (209RH1) (Ref. AMM TASK
R 23-73-43-000-001) (Ref. AMM TASK 23-73-43-400-001)

R - remove the DEU-A (200RH13) (Ref. AMM TASK 23-73-46-000-R 001)
R - do a check for a short circuit again.

R - install a new DEU-A (200RH13) (Ref. AMM TASK 23-73-46-R 400-001).

R - b.2. If the fault continues:
R - install the removed DEU-A (200RH15) (Ref. AMM TASK 23-73-R 46-400-001),
R - reconnect the electrical connector to the DEU TERMINATION
R BOX (209RH1)
R - disconnect the electrical connector from the DEU
R CONNECTION BOX (208RH13) (Ref. ASM 23-73/06),
R - do a check for a short circuit again.

R - b.2.1. If there is no short circuit:
R - do a check for a short circuit at the connector between
R pin 9 and GND (pin 4) and between pin 10 and GND (pin 4).

R - b.2.1.1. If there is a short circuit:
R - repair the wiring between the DEU CONNECTION BOX
R (208RH13) and the DEU TERMINATION BOX (209RH1) (Ref. ASM
R 23-73/06).

R - b.2.1.2. If there is no short circuit:
R - replace the DEU CONNECTION BOX (208RH13) (Ref. AMM TASK
R 23-73-42-000-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 23-73-42-400-001).

R - b.2.2. If there is a short circuit:
R - install the removed DEU-A (200RH13) (Ref. AMM TASK 23-73-R 46-400-001),
R - reconnect the electrical connector to the DEU CONNECTION
R BOX (208RH13) (Ref. ASM 23-73/06),
R - do the steps (4. B. (5) (b) 2 b) again for the subsequent
R DEUs and connection boxes until the maintenance message
R stops: (Ref. ASM 23-73/06)
R DEU-A (200RH7) and DEU CONNECTION BOX (208RH7),
R DEU-A (200RH3) and DEU CONNECTION BOX (208RH3),
R DEU-A (200RH1) and DEU CONNECTION BOX (208RH1).
R (6) If the resistance (line to line) is more than 120 ohms (open
R circuit):
R - disconnect the electrical connector from the DEU TERMINATION BOX
R (209RH1) (Ref. ASM 23-73/06).
R - make sure that the resistance (line to line) is not more than 120
R ohms (open circuit) between:
R DEU TERMINATION BOX (209RH1) pin A/1 and pin A/2
