A. Test
(1) Do the CIDS Interface and Power-Up Test via the CFDS (Ref. AMM TASK 23-73-00-740-010).
(2) Do the Operational Test of the Cabin LED Lamps via the CFDS (Ref. AMM TASK 23-73-00-710-035).
**ON A/C ALL
4. Fault Isolation
_______________
A. If the test gives a different maintenance message, do the trouble
shooting procedure related to the maintenance message.
**ON A/C 001-049, 051-099, 101-105, 201-299,
B. If the CIDS1/DEU-B test gives the maintenance message DEU-B 300RHx:
- remove the DIR-CIDS, 1 (101RH) (Ref. AMM TASK 23-73-34-000-001),
- make sure that at least one cabin door is open,
- close these CBs:
49VU: 150RH (G02) CIDS/DIR 1 & 2/ESS
121VU:151RH (M05) CIDS/DIR 1 & 2/NORM,
- stop for approx. 120 s,
- do the CIDS/DEU-B test (via CIDS2).
(1) If the CIDS2/DEU-B test is OK:
- install a new DIR-CIDS, 1 (101RH) (Ref. AMM TASK 23-73-34-400-001).
(2) If the fault continues:
- make sure that the related coding switch(es) is (are) set to the correct DEU-B address (Ref. ASM 23-73/10) and (Ref. ASM 23-73/11).
(a) If the coding switch(es) is (are) not in the correct position:
- make an adjustment of the related coding switch(es).
(b) If the coding switch(es) is (are) in the correct position:
- replace the related DEU-B (300RHx) (Ref. AMM TASK 23-73-47-000-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 23-73-47-400-001).
1 If the fault continues:

- replace the DEU mount 2011VUx (Ref. AMM TASK 23-73-48-000-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 23-73-48-400-001).
a If the fault continues:

- do a check for 28VDC at DEU mount 2011VUx connector A/8

B. If the test confirms the fault:
- make sure that the related coding switch(es) is (are) set to the correct DEU-B address (Ref. ASM 23-73/10) and (Ref. ASM 23-73/11).
(1) If the coding switch(es) is (are) not in the correct position:
- make an adjustment of the related coding switch(es).
(2) If the coding switch(es) is (are) in the correct position:
- replace the related DEU-B (300RHxx) (Ref. AMM TASK 23-73-47-000-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 23-73-47-400-001).
(a) If the fault continues:
- replace the related Connection Box 308RHxx (Ref. AMM TASK 23-73-42-000-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 23-73-42-400-001) or Termination Box 309RHxx (Ref. AMM TASK 23-73-43-000-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 23-73-43-400-001).
1 If the fault continues:
_
- do a check for 28VDC at Connection Box 308RHxx or Termination Box 309RHxx connector A/5 and A/8 and a GND signal at connector A/4 (Ref. ASM 23-73/10) and (Ref. ASM 23-73/11) and repair the wiring if necessary.
**ON A/C 151-199,
B. If the CIDS1/DEU-B test gives the maintenance message DEU-B 300RHx:
- make sure that at least one cabin door is open,
- open these CBs:
49VU: 150RH (G01) COM DIR ESS/1
49VU: 157RH (G02) COM DIR ESS/2
121VU:151RH (M06) CIDS/DIR NORM/1
121VU:156RH (M07) CIDS/DIR NORM/2,
- wait for approx. 10 s and close the CBs 156RH and 157RH,
- stop for approx. 120 s,
- do the CIDS/DEU-B test (via CIDS2).
(1) If the CIDS2/DEU-B test is OK:
- install a new DIR-CIDS, 1 (101RH) (Ref. AMM TASK 23-73-34-400-001).
