3. Fault Confirmation

**ON A/C 001-049, 051-099, 101-105, 151-199, 201-299,
A. Test for the RTS signs with bulbs
(1) Do the CIDS1/CIDS SIGN LAMP test through the CFDS (Ref. AMM TASK 23-73-00-710-033).
NOTE : An erroneous class 3 fault message will be recorded for each
____ LED NS/FSB and RTS sign (without bulbs), if the test of the related signs is not deactivated in the CAM.

(2) Set the SEAT BELTS switch to the ON position and make sure that the sign lamp comes on.
R **ON A/C 106-149, 301-399, 401-499,
A. Test
(1) Do the CIDS Interface and Power-Up Test via the CFDS (Ref. AMM TASK 23-73-00-740-010).
(2) Do the Operational Test of the Cabin LED Lamps via the CFDS (Ref. AMM TASK 23-73-00-710-035).
**ON A/C ALL
B. Test for the LED RTS signs (without bulbs) NOTE : An erroneous class 3 fault message will be recorded for each LED
____ NS/FSB and RTS sign (without bulbs), if the test of the related signs is not deactivated in the CAM.
(1) Set the SEAT BELTS switch to the ON position and make sure that the sign lamp comes on.
4. Fault Isolation

A. If the test gives a different maintenance message, do the trouble shooting procedure related to the maintenance message.
**ON A/C 001-049, 051-099, 101-105, 151-199, 201-299,
B. For RTS signs with bulbs: If the CIDS1/CIDS SIGN LAMP test gives the maintenance message RTS LAMP LAV X and the lamp does not come on:
NOTE : X identifies the location of the affected lavatory.

- replace the related RTS lamp (Ref. AMM TASK 23-73-62-000-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 23-73-62-400-001).
(1) If the fault continues:
- do a check for 28 VDC between pins 1 and 2 on the LIGHT PNL (581RHx) (Ref. ASM 23-73/13) and (Ref. ASM 23-73/15).
(a) If there is approx. 28 VDC:
- replace the LIGHT PNL (581RHx) (Ref. AMM TASK 23-73-46-000-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 23-73-46-400-001).

Aug 01/05 CES (b) If there is no 28 VDC:
- do a check for 28 VDC at the DEU-A 200RHxx between connectors C/18 and C/22.
1 If there is approx. 28 VDC:

- do a check and repair the wiring if necessary between the: DEU-A 200RHxx connector C/22 and the LIGHT PNL 581RHx pin 1, DEU-A 200RHxx connector C/18 and the LIGHT PNL 581RHx pin 2 (Ref. ASM 23-73/13) and (Ref. ASM 23-73/15).
2 If there is no 28 VDC:
_
- replace the DEU-A (200RHxx) (Ref. AMM TASK 23-73-46-000-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 23-73-46-400-001).
C. For LED RTS signs (without bulbs):
If the RTS sign does not come on:
- replace the related PSU 596RHx (Ref. AMM TASK 23-73-62-000-006) and (Ref. AMM TASK 23-73-62-400-006).
NOTE : X identifies the location of the affected lavatory.

(1) If the fault continues:
- do a check for 28 VDC at the DEU-A 200RHxx between connectors C/18 and C/22.
(a) If there is approx. 28 VDC:
- do a check and repair the wiring if necessary between the: DEU-A 200RHxx connector C/22 and the PSU 596RHx connector A pin D, DEU-A 200RHxx connector C/18 and the PSU 596RHx connector A pin B (Ref. ASM 23-73/13) and (Ref. ASM 23-73/15).
(b) If there is no 28 VDC:
- replace the DEU-A (200RHxx) (Ref. AMM TASK 23-73-46-000-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 23-73-46-400-001).
R **ON A/C 106-149, 301-399, 401-499,
B. If the test confirms the fault:
- replace the related RTS sign (Ref. AMM TASK 23-73-62-000-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 23-73-62-400-001).
(1) If the fault continues:
- replace the related DEU-A (Ref. AMM TASK 23-73-46-000-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 23-73-46-400-001).
C. If the fault continues:
- do a check and repair if necessary the wiring between the related DEU-A connector and the RTS sign at the signal names: FSB-SIGN DC GND (Ref. ASM 23-73/13) (Ref. ASM 23-73/14).
**ON A/C 001-049, 051-099, 101-105, 151-199, 201-299,
D. If CIDS1/CIDS LAMP test gives the maintenance message RTS LAMP LAV x but the lamp comes on:
