- replace the C/B-CAPT/LOUD/SPKR (5WW).
(2) If the circuit breaker is open:
- close it.
(a) If it opens again:
- replace the LOUD SPEAKER-CAPT (7WW) (Ref. AMM TASK 31-53-21-000-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 31-53-21-400-001).
1 If the fault continues:
_
- do a check for a short to ground at the wiring between the Captain loud speaker (7WW) and the circuit breaker (5WW) (Ref. ASM 31-51/01).
a If there is a short to ground:
_
- repair the above wiring. b If there is no short to ground:
_
- replace the C/B-CAPT/LOUD/SPKR (5WW).
(b) If the circuit breaker stays closed and the fault continues:
- replace the LOUD SPEAKER-CAPT (7WW) (Ref. AMM TASK 31-53-21-000-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 31-53-21-400-001).
C. Do the test given in Para. 3.

B. If the loud speaker at the First Officer station does not operate: R - do a check of the circuit breaker (4WW) status.
(1) If the circuit breaker is closed:
- do a check for 28VDC at pin A/A of the First Officer loud speaker (8WW) (Ref. ASM 31-51/01).
(a) If there is 28VDC:
- replace the AMU (1RN) (Ref. AMM TASK 23-51-34-000-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 23-51-34-400-001).
1 If the fault continues:
_
- replace the POT-LOUD SPEAKER, F/O (15RN2) (Ref. IPC 235108).
2 If the fault continues:
_
- replace the LOUD SPEAKER-F/O (8WW) (Ref. AMM TASK 31-53-21-000-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 31-53-21-400-001).
3 If the fault continues:
_
- do a check of the wiring between AMU (1RN) pins AA/11J, 11H and First Officer loud speaker (8WW) pins A/C, G (Ref. ASM 23-51/02).
a If there is no continuity:
_ - repair the above wiring.
b If there is continuity:
_
- do a check of the wiring between: . AMU (1RN) pin AA/11G and First Officer loud speaker potentiometer (15RN2) pin A/3 . First Officer loud speaker (8WW) pin A/F and First Officer loud speaker potentiometer (15RN2) pin A/1
- repair the above faulty wiring.
(b) If there is no 28VDC:
- do a check for a ground signal at pin A/B of the First Officer loud speaker (8WW) (Ref. ASM 31-51/01).
1 If there is no ground signal:
_
- repair the wiring between the First Officer loud speaker (8WW) pin A/B and the ground terminal (Ref. ASM 31-51/01).
2 If there is a ground signal:
_
- do a check of the wiring between the First Officer loud speaker (8WW) pin A/A and the circuit breaker (4WW) (Ref. ASM 31-51/01).
a If there is no continuity:
_ - repair the above wiring.
b If there is continuity:
_
- replace the C/B-F/O/LOUD/SPKR (4WW).
