- do the steps 4. B. (6) again for the subsequent DEU mounts until the maintenance message stops: DIR-CIDS (101RH) and DEU mount 2010VU8/connector 7213VC8, DIR-CIDS (101RH) and DEU mount 2010VU12/connector 7213VC12, DIR-CIDS (101RH) and DEU mount 2010VU16/connector 7213VC16, DIR-CIDS (101RH) and DEU mount 2010VU20/connector 7213VC20, DIR-CIDS (101RH) and DEU mount 2014VU2/connector 7253VC2.
(7) If the resistance (line to line) is less than 80 ohms (short circuit):
- remove the DEU-A (200RH24) (Ref. AMM TASK 23-73-46-000-001).
- do a check for a short circuit again.
(a) If there is no short circuit:
- install a new DEU-A (200RH24) (Ref. AMM TASK 23-73-46-400-001).
(b) If there is a short circuit:
- install the removed DEU-A (200RH24) (Ref. AMM TASK 23-73-46-400-001).
- diconnect the electrical connector 7253VC2 from the DEU mount 2014VU2 (Ref. ASM 23-73/06),
- do a check for a short circuit again.
1 If there is a short circuit:
_
- reconnect the electrical connector to the DEU mount 2014VU2 (Ref. AMM TASK 23-73-48-400-001),
- do the steps 4. B. (7) again for the subsequent DEUs and DEU mounts until the maintenance message stops: (Ref. ASM 23-73/06) DEU-A (200RH20) and DEU mount 2010VU20, DEU-A (200RH16) and DEU mount 2010VU16, DEU-A (200RH12) and DEU mount 2010VU12, DEU-A (200RH8) and DEU mount 2010VU8,

2 If there is no short circuit:

- do a check for a short circuit at the disconnected connector between the pins A/9 and A/10 (Ref. ASM 23-73/06)
a If there is a short circuit:
_
- repaire the wiring between the related DEU mount 2010VUxx and the DEU mount 2014VUxx/2010VUxx (Ref. ASM 23-73/06).
b If there is no short circuit:
_
- install a new DEU mount 2014VU2 (Ref. AMM TASK 23-73-48-400-001).
R **ON A/C 106-149, 401-499,
B. If the CIDS1/CIDS BUS test gives the maintenance message CIDS TOP BUS 1R/ DIR1 (101RH)
- remove the DIR-CIDS (101RH) (Ref. AMM TASK 23-73-34-000-001),
- make sure that at least one cabin door is open,
- close these CBs:
49VU: 157RH COM/CIDS/DIR ESS/2,
120VU: 156RH COM NAV/CIDS/DIR NORM /2,
122VU: 14WH AIR COND/CIDS/SDF/DIR NORM/2,
49VU: 18WH AIR COND/CIDS/SDF/DIR 2 ESS,
- wait for approx. 120 s,
- do the CIDS2/CIDS BUS test through the MCDU/CFDS.
(1) If the CIDS2/CIDS BUS test is OK:
- install a new DIR-CIDS, 1 (101RH) (Ref. AMM TASK 23-73-34-400-001).
(2) If the fault continues:
- remove the DIR-CIDS, 2 (102RH) (Ref. AMM TASK 23-73-34-000-001).
- during the installation of the DIR-CIDS, 1 (101RH) do not close these CBs: 49VU: 157RH COM/CIDS/DIR ESS/2, 120VU: 156RH COM NAV/CIDS/DIR NORM /2, 122VU: 14WH AIR COND/CIDS/SDF/DIR NORM/2, 49VU: 18WH AIR COND/CIDS/SDF/DIR 2 ESS,
- install the DIR-CIDS, 1 (101RH) (Ref. AMM TASK 23-73-34-400-001).
- do the CIDS1/CIDS BUS test through the MCDU/CFDS.
(3) If the CIDS1/CIDS BUS test is OK:
- install a new DIR-CIDS, 2 (102RH) (Ref. AMM TASK 23-73-34-400-001).
(4) If the fault continues:
- remove the DIR-CIDS, 1 (101RH) (Ref. AMM TASK 23-73-34-000-001)
- open these CBs: 49VU: 158RH COM/CIDS/DEU A ESS/FWD R 49VU: 172RH COM/CIDS/DEU A ESS/AFT R 121VU: 164RH COM NAV/CIDS/DEU A NORM/R FWD
