A. Test
(1) Do the CIDS BITE test through the CFDS (Ref. AMM TASK 23-73-00-740-005).
R **ON A/C 106-149, 301-399, 401-499,
A. Test
(1) Do the CIDS Interface and Power-Up test through the CFDS (Ref. AMM TASK 23-73-00-740-010).

4. Fault Isolation
_______________
A. If the test gives a different maintenance message, do the trouble shooting procedure related to the maintenance message.
**ON A/C 001-003, 051-054,
B. If the fault is confirmed:
- remove DIR-CIDS, 1 (101RH) and DIR-CIDS, 2 (102RH) (Ref. AMM TASK 23-73-34-000-001),
- check the wiring for a short circuit between:
DIR-CIDS, 1 (101RH) connector AB pin 11A and GND,
DIR-CIDS, 2 (102RH) connector AB pin 11A and GND
(Ref. ASM 23-73/06).
(1) If there is a short circuit:
- replace the BOARD-ANN LT TEST & INTFC (9LP) (Ref. AMM TASK 33-14-33-000-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 33-14-33-400-001).
(2) Install the DIR-CIDS, 1 (101RH) and DIR-CIDS, 2 (102RH) (Ref. AMM TASK 23-73-34-400-001) and do the test again.
**ON A/C 001-049, 051-099, 101-105, 201-299,
C. If the fault is confirmed and CIDS1 (ACT) is shown on the CFDS:
- remove the DIR-CIDS1 (Ref. AMM TASK 23-73-34-000-001),
- close this CBs:
49VU: 150RH (G02) CIDS/DIR 1 & 2/ESS
121VU: 151RH (M05) CIDS/DIR 1 & 2/NORM,
- stop for approx. 120 s,
- do the test again.
(1) If the ECAM message CIDS 1&2 FAULT and CFDS message DIRECTOR (CIDS2 (ACT)) come on:
- install a new DIR-CIDS, 2 (102RH) (Ref. AMM TASK 23-73-34-000-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 23-73-34-400-001)
- do the test again.
(a) If the fault continues:
