- do a check and repair the wiring from Third Occupant
boomset receptacle (17RN3) to AMU (1RN) from pins 3, 4 to
pins AA/15D, 15E (Ref. ASM 23-51/04).
- replace the RCPT-BOOMSET, 3RD OCCPNT (17RN3) (Ref. IPC 235108).
(a) If the fault continues:
- do a check and repair the wiring from Third Occupant headset jack (18RN3) to Third Occupant boomset from pins 1, 2 to pins 2, 1 (Ref. ASM 23-51/04).
B. Do the test given in Para. 3.

CES B. If the loud speaker at the Captain station does not operate:
- do a check of the circuit breaker (5WW) status.
(1) If the circuit breaker is closed:
- do a check for 28VDC at pin A/A of the Captain loud speaker (7WW) (Ref. ASM 31-51/01).
(a) If there is 28VDC:
- replace the AMU (1RN) (Ref. AMM TASK 23-51-34-000-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 23-51-34-400-001).
1 If the fault continues:
_
- replace the POT-LOUD SPEAKER, CAPT (15RN1) (Ref. IPC 235108).
2 If the fault continues:
_
- replace the LOUD SPEAKER-CAPT (7WW) (Ref. AMM TASK 31-53-21-000-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 31-53-21-400-001).
3 If the fault continues:
_
- do a check of the wiring between AMU (1RN) pins AA/8J, 8H and Captain loud speaker (7WW) pins A/C, G (Ref. ASM 23-51/02).
a If there is no continuity:
_ - repair the above wiring.
b If there is continuity:
_
- do a check of the wiring between: . AMU (1RN) pin AA/8G and Captain loud speaker potentiometer (15RN1) pin A/3 . Captain loud speaker (7WW) pin A/F and Captain loud speaker potentiometer (15RN1) pin A/1
- repair the above faulty wiring.
(b) If there is no 28VDC:
- do a check for a ground signal at pin A/B of the Captain loud speaker (7WW) (Ref. ASM 31-51/01).
1 If there is no ground signal:
_
- repair the wiring between the Captain loud speaker (7WW) pin A/B and the ground terminal (Ref. ASM 31-51/01).
2 If there is a ground signal:
_
- do a check of the wiring between the Captain loud speaker (7WW) pin A/A and the circuit breaker (5WW) (Ref. ASM 31-51/01).
a If there is no continuity:
_ - repair the above wiring.
