A. Do the CIDS Interface and Power-Up test through the CFDS (Ref. AMM TASK 23-73-00-740-010).

4. Fault Isolation

A. If the test gives a different maintenance message, do the trouble shooting procedure related to the maintenance message.
**ON A/C 001-049, 051-099, 101-105, 151-199, 201-299,
B. If the CIDS BITE test gives the maintenance message DIRECTOR:
- do the CIDS2 DIRECTOR test through the CFDS.
(1) If the fault message DIRECTOR comes on:
- replace the DIR-CIDS, 2 (102RH) (Ref. AMM TASK 23-73-34-000-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 23-73-34-400-001).
R **ON A/C 106-149, 301-399, 401-499,
B. If the test confirms the fault:
- replace the DIR-CIDS, 2 (102RH) (Ref. AMM TASK 23-73-34-000-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 23-73-34-400-001).

(1) If the fault message DIRECTOR comes on:
- replace the DIR-CIDS, 1 (101RH) (Ref. AMM TASK 23-73-34-000-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 23-73-34-400-001).
(2) If no maintenance message comes on:
- do a check and repair the wiring between the: DIR-CIDS,1 connector AA/13A and DIR-CIDS,2 connector AA/13E, DIR-CIDS,1 connector AA/13B and DIR-CIDS,2 connector AA/13F (Ref. ASM 23-73/01).
(a) If the fault continues:
- replace the DIR-CIDS, 2 (102RH) (Ref. AMM TASK 23-73-34-000-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 23-73-34-400-001).
R **ON A/C 106-149, 301-399, 401-499,
B. If the test confirms the fault:
- replace the DIR-CIDS, 2 (102RH) (Ref. AMM TASK 23-73-34-000-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 23-73-34-400-001).
(1) If the fault continues:
- do a check and repair the wiring between the: DIR-CIDS,1 connector AA/13A and DIR-CIDS,2 connector AA/13E, DIR-CIDS,1 connector AA/13B and DIR-CIDS,2 connector AA/13F (Ref. ASM 23-73/01).
(a) If the fault continues:
- replace the DIR-CIDS, 1 (101RH) (Ref. AMM TASK 23-73-34-000-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 23-73-34-400-001).
