(2) In the headset:
- check the reception in the boomset of the same station.
(a) If the reception in the boomset is incorrect:
- replace the AMU (1RN) (Ref. AMM TASK 23-51-34-000-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 23-51-34-400-001).
1 If the fault continues:
_
- do a check and repair the wiring from AMU (1RN) pins AA/15G, 15H to the first terminal block (Ref. ASM 23-51/04).
(b) If the reception in the boomset is correct:
- connect a new headset to the Third Occupant headset jack (18RN3) on the panel 62VU.
1 If the fault continues:
_
- replace the JACK-HEADSET, 3RD OCCPNT (18RN3) (Ref. IPC 235108).
2 If the fault continues:
_
- do a check and repair the wiring from Third Occupant headset jack (18RN3) pins 1 and 2 to the first terminal block (Ref. ASM 23-51/04).
B. Do the test given in Para. 3.

(a) If the fault continues:
- replace the JACK-HEADSET, SUPPLEMENTARY (18RN5) (Ref. IPC 235108).
