- do a check for continuity at the RELAY-PARKING BRK CTLD (14RK) (between pins A and 2, pins B and 4) with the RCDR/CVR TEST pushbutton switch (5RK) pushed (Ref. ASM 23-71/02)
(1) If there is no continuity on a relay:
- replace the defective relay.
(2) If there is no continuity on all the relays:
- do a check for continuity at the P/B SW-RCDR/CVR TEST (5RK) (between pins 1 and 2) with the RCDR/CVR TEST pushbutton switch (5RK) pushed (Ref. ASM 23-71/01).

(a) If there is no continuity:
- replace the RCDR/CVR TEST pushbutton switch (5RK).
(b) If there is continuity:
- do a check and repair the wiring of the RCDR/CVR TEST pushbutton switch (5RK) and of relay (20RK) pins X and Z (Ref. ASM 23-71/01).
(3) If there is continuity on all the relays:
- do a check and repair the wiring on the relays (20RK) and (14RK) (Ref. ASM 23-71/02).
