Make sure that the sidewall panel is removed in the forward passenger compartment:

Make sure that the thermal and acoustic insulation is removed in zone 231/232.
4. Procedure

A. Installation of a sealant
(1)
Clean the component interface and/or the adjacent area.
(2)
Do an inspection of the component interface and/or the adjacent area.
(3)
Remove the used sealant from the aircraft structure with a non-metallic scraper.
(4)
Clean the aircraft structure with CLEANING AGENTS (Material No. 11-003) and a lint-free cloth.
(5)
Install the SEALANTS (Material No. 09-019) between the wing and engine scan light (1) and the structure (3) of the aircraft.

B. Installation of the Wing and Engine Scan Light
(1)
Inside the forward passenger compartment, install the new wing and engine scan light (1).
(2)
Remove the blanking cap and connect the movable connector (4) to the light (1).
(3)
Outside the aircraft, tighten the 16 screws (2) which attach the wing and engine scan light (1) to the aircraft structure (3).

C. Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s):
