 A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
 (1)
 On the overhead panel 25VU, make sure that the EMER EXIT LT switch 4WL is in the OFF position.

 (2)
 On the Forward Attendant Panel (FAP) 120RH, make sure that the LIGHT EMER pushbutton switch and its integral light are off.

 A. Preparation for Installation
 (1)
 Make sure that the parts retained from the removed component are clean and in the correct condition.

 (2)
 Clean the component interface and/or the adjacent area.


 (3) Do an inspection of the component interface and/or the adjacent area. Subtask 33-51-15-420-050
 B. Installation of the Emergency Overwing Light
 (1) Installation of the Emergency Overwing-Light Assembly
 (a)
 Remove the blanking caps from the electrical connectors.

 (b)
 Make sure that the electrical connectors are clean and in the correct condition.

 (c)
 Connect the electrical connector (1).

 (d)
 Install the bonding strap (3) with the screw (2) (Ref. TASK 20-28-00-912-004).

 (e)
 Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tool(s) and other items.

 (f)
 Put the emergency overwing-light assembly into position in the fuselage structure.

 (g)
 Install the screws (4).


 (2) Installation of the Bulb(s) of the Emergency Overwing Light
 (a)
 Install the bulb(s) (9) in the light housing (10).

 (b)
 Install the lens diffuser in the light housing (10).

 (c)
 Install the lens (6) and the sealing (7) with the screws (5) to the light housing (10).

 C. Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s): 1WL, 2WL, 3WL.

 D. Preparation for the Test WARNING : MAKE SURE THAT ALL THE CIRCUITS IN MAINTENANCE ARE ISOLATED
_______ BEFORE YOU SUPPLY ELECTRICAL POWER TO THE AIRCRAFT.
 (1) Energize the aircraft electrical circuits (Ref. TASK 24-41-00-861-002).

 E. Do this test.

 - pull down and remove the cover  - the SLIDE ARMED light on the cabin
