A. Test of the Anti-Collision/Strobe Lighting
(1) Do this test.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------ACTION RESULT -------------------------------------------------------------------------------
1. On the overhead panel 25VU: - put the switch BEACON 2LV to the ON position. On the upper and lower fuselage:- the upper beacon light 7LV and thelower beacon light 6LV come on. These lights flash at a rate of approx. 45 flashes per minute.
2. On the overhead panel 25VU: - put the switch STROBE 11LV to the ON position. On the wing tips and tailcone:- the strobe lights 17LV and 16LV atthe end of the wing tips come on. - the strobe light 19LV at the tailcone below the APU exhaust comes on.
NOTE : Make sure that the strobe lights____ flash in different
synchronization with the upper and lower beacon lights.
3. In the cockpit on the EXT LT panel 25VU: - put the switch STROBE 11LV to the AUTO position. On the wing tips and tailcone:- the strobe lights go off.
