A. Installation of the Take Off Light
(1)
Clean the component interface and/or the adjacent area.
(2)
Do an inspection of the component interface and/or the adjacent area.
(3)
Make sure that the filament of the bulb and the lens of the optical unit are in the correct condition.
(4)
Make sure that the clamp is correctly installed.
(5)
Put the light (10) on its support (3).
(6)
Apply SPECIAL MATERIALS (Material No. 05-002) to the screws (1) and (9).
(7) Install the light (10) in the lower fork of the support (3).
(8) Put the washer (8) on the screw (9).
(9) Install the screws in the support (3).
(10) Install the washer (7) and tighten the nut (6).
(11) Turn the light to the upper forks.
(12) Put the washers (2) on the screws (1).
(13) Install the screws in the support (3).
(14) Install the washer (4) and tighten the nut (5).
(15) Remove the blanking caps from the electrical connector (12) and the socket (11).
(16) Make sure that the electrical connector (12) and the socket (11) are in the correct condition.
(17) Connect the electrical connector (12) to the socket (11) and lock it.

R (1) Clean the component interface and/or the adjacent area.
R (2) Do an inspection of the component interface and/or the adjacent area.

R (5) Put the light (10) on its support (3).

R (7) Install the light (10) in the lower fork of the support (3).
R (8) Put the washer (8) on the screw (9).
R (9) Install the screws in the support (3).
R (10) Install the washer (7) and tighten the nut (6).
R (11) Turn the light to the upper forks.
R (12) Put the washers (2) on the screws (1).
R (13) Install the screws in the support (3).
R (14) Install the washer (4) and tighten the nut (5).
R (15) Adjust the take off light (Ref. TASK 33-46-11-730-001).
R R (16) Remove the blanking caps from the electrical connector (12) and the socket (11).
R R (17) Make sure that the electrical connector (12) and the socket (11) are in the correct condition.
R (18) Connect the electrical connector (12) to the socket (11) and lock it.

B. Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s): 3LR

AFTER YOU DE-ENERGIZE THE ELECTRICAL CIRCUITS.
CAUTION : DO NOT TOUCH THE LAMP GLASS WITH YOUR FINGERS.
_______ THE OILS FROM YOUR SKIN WILL QUICKLY CAUSE DETERIORATION OF THE LAMP. IF YOU ACCIDENTALLY TOUCH THE LAMP GLASS, CLEAN IT WITH A LINT-FREE CLOTH.
