R A. Adjustment of the Light Mounts
R (Ref. Fig. 501/TASK 33-46-00-991-001)
R (1) Remove the taxi light (8LR) (Ref. TASK 33-46-12-000-001) and the take
R off light (7LR) (Ref. TASK 33-46-11-000-001).
R (2) Loosen the 3 screws (1) of the two light mounts.
R (3) Install the tool ADJUSTING TOOL - TAKE-OFF/TAXI LIGHTS

R - put the sleeve (3) in position on the upper fork of the right mount
R and lock it with the needle (2),
R - put the tooling assembly (4) (slide rod and sleeve) in position on
R the upper fork of the left mount and lock it with the needle (2),
R - put the index (5) against the vertical web of the mount.
R (4) Move the rod of the tooling assembly (4) laterally. The rod must
R slide freely from the left sleeve to the right sleeve.
R (5) Tighten the 3 screws (1) on the two light mounts.
R (6) Make sure that you can turn the rod freely in the two sleeves.
R (7) Remove the right and left needles (2), then remove the sleeve (3) and
R tooling assembly (4) .
R (8) Install the taxi light (8LR) (Ref. TASK 33-46-12-400-001) and the
R take off light (7LR) (Ref. TASK 33-46-11-400-001).
